Services
Implants provide the possibility for permanent replacement of single or multiple teeth without the involvement of other natural teeth. Implants allow restoration of the missing area with a natural looking porcelain crown. Implants can also assist in anchoring removable dentures, making them feel more natural and allowing security when in public.
A dental veneer is a thin layer of synthetic material (porcelain or composite) that is bonded to the tooth's surface. Veneers are a great alternative to otherwise painful dental procedures to improve the appearance of your smile. Veneers are often referred to "Instant Orthodontics". A substantial aesthetic effect can be obtained with a veneer and minimal tooth preparation is required.
Relaxation Dentistry is accomplished through oral medication taken prior to your dental appointment. A family member or friend accompanies you to the office and by the time you arrive you are drowsy. Upon arrival at the office, you are escorted to a comfortable chair, and covered with a nice warm blanket.
Then, a protective covering will be placed over your gums to protect the soft tissue from the bleaching agent. The gel is a scientifically formulated, pH balanced Hydrogen Peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom! light, gently penetrates the teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration. With proper care and an occasional touch-up at home, your whiter smile will sparkle for years.
As you enter our practice for your first cleaning appointment you will see we are not the typical dental office. We are genuinely concerned with your overall health and how it relates to and interacts with your oral health. Since a significant number of dental problems such as cavities tend to progress exponentially over several months, we usually will recommend return appointments every 6 months.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shannon for almost 10 years. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. The care I receive is awesome. Dr. Shannon makes it a point to check on his patients post-procedure to make sure all is well. A more caring dentist would be almost impossible to find. You are treated more like family in this office. If anyone is looking for a dentist, this is the place to go and the dentist to trust.

I can’t say enough great about Dr. Shannon and his ENTIRE staff! After I had some reluctance and hesitation with a treatment, Dr. Shannon was supportive, understanding, and sympathetic. He encouraged me throughout and, because of that, I have been able to get relief from a chronic issue. This office has been amazingly kind...and gives the best cookies (I know, right!)!!

Need the best dentist on this side of the Mississippi? Look no further. Seriously Dr. Shannon has done different procedures on my teeth. All have come out fantastic. Staff well trained and nice. He takes very excellent procedures to protect against Covid-19. So no worries! Go in and relax because all will be fine!

Dr. Shannon, everyone in the office, and every assistant I've come in contact with is helpful, personable, and does a great job. I don't know if a person can LIKE going to the dentist, but I do enjoy seeing them all and know I'm in good hands. They were even great with my little one. He felt big, comfortable, and like the star of the show.

By far the best dentist I've ever been to. I was having tooth pain for a while that prevented me from eating on one side. I was constantly going back and forth to my last dentist getting the same results, which was an unresolved problem. I decided to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did! Dr. Shannon knew exactly what was wrong within a few minutes. We have now resolved the issue and I can chew on both sides of my mouth again!
