Terri (Archer Bay Capital) is fantastic! My wife and I have been working with her for a little over a year and it's been an amazing experience. We were apprehensive about looking for a financial adviser initially because we were not sure that we could find one who we can trust to look out for our own interest. Terri has done just that and her philosophy on money and savings (where the focus is on a desired lifestyle and life goals, as opposed to money for the sake of money) has been refreshing. I was explained in great detail, step by step how to properly invest and save . It started off with doing a detailed budget , and projection of my needs across my lifespan . I was also taught how to invest in ETF's and save money by not investing in funds with large expense ratios .

As the son of Depression-era parents, my "investment" strategy can only be defined by one word: fearful. It has consisted of not carrying any debt and squirreling away money in FDIC accounts, frequently paying zero interest. While I have known for 20+ years that this strategy does not maintain the purchasing power of money due to inflation and taxes, I was incapable of overcoming my fear. I had resigned myself to accept the pain of a slow erosion of the value of my savings vs. the rapid losses that can occur with investments in the stock market. I don't know where I would be without Terri and Archer Bay. She understands that everyone thinks about money differently and has different long-term and short-term goals. Terri helps you make decisions to set you up for success by providing her insight, historical data, and tools.

I cannot recommend Archer Bay and Terri enough! My husband and I had been meaning to find a financial adviser for some time but wanted to make sure it was someone I could trust had my best interest in mind (and not their own wallets!) We felt instantly at ease with Terri. She starts by sharing a ton of information on investing, the stock market, expense ratios, how to find compare mutual funds, etc... Her wealth of knowledge & experience is impressive as well as her ability to speak to it in a way we could understand. She doesn't rush through or try to "sell us" on anything
