Located in Elmhurst, a suburb of Chicago, Ipomea works with you on a one on one basis to create customized floral designs that reflect your personal style. This definition of Ipomea (Ip-uh-mee-uh) is why we chose the name, we love sharing in a day where two souls become one.
Sheila was one of the best/favorite vendors of my entire wedding! I was so sad I didn't get to see her the day of my wedding because if I had I would have high-fived her, hugged her, and then thanked her for making everything SO beautiful! Working with Sheila was a pleasure. From our first interaction, she seemed to truly listen to what I was looking for she really got me and my aesthetic.

We had a great meeting with Sheila in person prior to booking Ipomea for our flowers. She walked through what we liked and didn’t like while giving her professional opinion / feedback on what would work best for us. She was able to pinpoint our vision without us really knowing we had one. We were very impressed with her ability to do this and pull together our ideas into a cohesive plan. We had some last minute changes to the flowers which she was very accommodating with, and all of our flowers turned out so beautiful! We would highly recommend Ipomea.

I was a bride that knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I had a very clear vision. The clearest of that vision was knowing what kind of flowers I wanted and exactly what I wanted them to look like. Because of this, I was able to narrow down florists by their style. So when I came across Ipomea Floral, I scheduled a meeting right away. I met with Sheila and she immediately saw my vision as if it were her own. She showed me pictures to make sure we were on the same page. When Sheila came back with our quote, It was a little higher than we wanted to take on. Sheila was really good about

I really can't recommend a florist more highly than Sheila. I went in with very little vision - some gerbera daisies, maybe? corals and pinks? - and our personal flowers were more beautiful than anything I could have imagined. Sheila took some really vague direction from me and turned that into gorgeous arrangements. She was also very upfront about pricing and respected my budget, with no hidden fees or charges at all. Overall, she was just really fun and easy to work with, and she communicated regularly to make sure we were on the same page. I really can't put into words how much I appreciated

I came across Ipomea Floral Design when our Wedding Photographer featured some absolutely beautiful pictures of Sheila's work on their Social Media pages. Her unique design and vision was exactly what we were looking for so I immediately reached out to her. Sheila was quick to respond and excited to set-up a meeting to discuss in more detail our vision for our wedding as well as the planning process. Sheila was maybe the most up-front and easy to work with vendor we encountered in the planning process. AND super sweet! She definitely has your best interests at heart, not just the bottom line. She answered emails immediately, and we had all the details wrapped up months before our big day (which was awesome with everything that comes up in the weeks before). Also, did I mention... the flowers were breathtaking!!!

Sheila did such a great job with the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and floral arrangements at our wedding in May 2016. I don't know much about flowers so wasn't super helpful giving direction, but she created such beautiful and creative arrangements! When planning, wedding flowers were at first low on my priority list, but they ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day because Sheila made everything look so gorgeous and perfect. She was great to work with and very flexible with a last minute request for a hair comb. Thank you, Sheila!

Living on the west coast I can always count on a fantastic Mother's Day arrangement or any other arrangement that's delivered to my family and friends in the Chicago area. They always say they're so beautiful and a wonderful unique design. I'm happy that it has a personal touch and design which is refreshing compared to others. If you're looking to absolutely blow away the person to whom you're giving flowers, Ipomea Floral is the place for you.
Not only are the flowers absolutely gorgeous, but the arrangements that the owner Sheila puts together are incredible. Being your standard guy with little floral knowledge, there have been times when I have simply asked her to make me something "amazing" and given almost no other direction. Despite this lack of instruction, her arrangements always somehow exceed my wildest expectations.
Her flowers are extremely fresh and tend to last longer than flowers
