Prominence Health Plan is a local health plan in Reno. They provide various health care options including Prominence Medicare Advantage plans. If you live in Northern Nevada and qualify for Medicare, you can enroll in Prominence's $0 premium plan. Checking your prescriptions regularly is a great way to make sure that you are paying the lowest amount at the pharmacy.
Medicare Advantage Plans, also known as Part C, vary in benefit and price. During this time, you can shop your options, apply for a new plan, or renew your current coverage. Plan Options: The county of your home address ultimately determines which plans are available to purchase. Part A & B: You need to be actively enrolled in both Part A and Part B of Medicare to qualify.

I had the greatest interaction while looking for insurance , and normally it is dreadful but Grant Dodge was the Agent and he spent a lot of time finding me the best policy for my Medicare Plan for the new year. I have enjoyed my time with Grant who is absolutely great to do business with. I am now covered 100% no copays , no more out of pocket expenses even for prescription's and my Dr.s all accept my new plan . I contacted Kyle after reading reviews about his firm and was not disappointed. He helped me put together a great set of choices for a family member’s medical coverage. New to Reno and Cobra insurance coming to a end, Alex was able to help us with insurance that meet our health needs. Alex was very polite and professional throughout our communications. Don't go through the government State system and get hundreds of calls a day that you can never turn off. That happened to me in California. Go with a local company like Health Benefits Associates.

Alex helped me with my Medicare supplemental and dental 18 months ago and was very thorough and helpful. Last week when my wife needed help we went to Alex and he went through all options. Alex completed all of the paperwork for her supplemental and also for her prescription drugs. Within one and a half hours we were all done and within 24 hours received confirmation. My wife has had a great experience with her Supplemental Insurance(Aetna), so when I turned 65 I naturally called her agent to get on the same plan. After waiting for two days for a return call, I was informed that I couldn't get my wife's plan. Happened to get Alex's mailer the same day; turned out to be my lucky day. Alex got me the same plan as my wife. Fast forward a few months and Alex gets my wife(very healthy) into the same plan at a savings of $700 over her renewal quote. I am turning 65 next month and needed to navigate the myriad of Medicare options available. I did a lot of "self study" and got a reasonable knowledge of the system, but felt like I wanted to get some professional advice to make sure I was on the right track, as there are some very complicated aspects to make sure you find the right plan. I've been self employed for several years....difficult for any of us to find affordable healthcare anymore. Especially, self-employed, small biz peeps! $700k/mo for CRAP benefits is where it's at. Makes me want to go back to work for a Co just for the benefits! PEOPLE really need to appreciate the benefits their companies offer any more...as part of 'income package'
