Field Export was founded by Don Miller in 1967. In 2003, Shawn Miller succeeded as Vice President. Field Export relocated from the original location in Vernon to a much larger facility in Paramount in 2006. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of customer service and utilize our generations of experience to assure our customers that their product will be crated properly and arrive on time.
We use a range of methods for export shipping, depending on the commodity and customer requirements. We use standard Barrier Paper as well as VCI Paper and vacuum sealed plastic and Vapor Barrier Bags. All wood is KDHT stamped and certified and each crate is manufactured to individual county requirements, i.e.
We can consolidate your freight in our warehouse and load the container in our yard, at a location where goods are stored, or simply block and brace your loaded container. We can load or block and brace anything from boxes and pallets to vehicles, large tanks, boilers, machines, and oversize equipment.
We can arrange for Air or Ground shipment to most Domestic locations, as well as Ocean or Air Freight to most International locations. Shipping costs are determined by weight (actual or dimensional), destination and type of service. Once destination and service level is determined, charges will be calculated by a per pound charge plus any special service requirements, i.e. insurance, residential delivery, inside/uncrate, liftgate truck.
