J & S Mechanical has been in business since 1976 with well over 35 years experience and having completed some of the biggest and toughest projects in Utah. With licenses in five western states and the ability to tackle your most complicated mechanical systems, we specialize in hospitals, laboratories, and detention facilities.

J & S Mechanical is a full service company. We give the same attention to every job from the remodel to a multi-million dollar Hospital. We employ an efficient and professional staff, well versed in all aspects of the complete mechanical and plumbing system that we install. From the underground phase through commissioning and even service after you have moved in.

The UVRMC replacement project includes a new 12-story 236 bed hospital building, E.D. and imaging departments, 26 surgical suites and associated support areas, new Central Processing, Inpatient Pharmacy and Lab. By integrating sustainable building strategies and systems in the overall design the project pursued a LEED Silver certification.

The College of Agriculture is an innovative campus facility built with standards for energy efficiency. This project has received a LEED Gold rating. The building contains both lab and office spaces and has separate HVAC systems to accommodate both. There are "Phoenix" supply and exhaust systems with a wash down that eliminates potential contaminants being introduced to the atmosphere.

This project is a new 1,000 bed facility with a separate central plant and administration building that includes a four story housing unit. All of the cells for this project were prefabricated and the plumbing stub up needed to be right on for the unit to be craned into place. By working with the manufacturer and the onsite trades this was accomplished.
