Excellent food and a terrific atmosphere! We stopped in for a quick dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place is. We dined in January, so the patio was snowed in. Service was great. Very fast and their pepper steak was perfect. Checkout the glass floor with seashells and sand. Too Cool!!

Yall need to check this chinese restaurant out. They have so many items on the menu. They always use fresh ingredients and they prepare my food the way I like it. For example, I request no msg. They have numerous vegetarian / vegan dishes such as eggplant stir fry, sauteed garlic and brocolli, plain egg foo young. It's simply the best. Oh yeah, their chicken taste like real grade A chicken breast.

I have eaten here maybe a dozen times with friends. Absolutely fantastic service and great food.100% recommend.

Food tasted amazing! We picked up some fried rice and kung pao chicken, which were both delicious. The portion size was good too, compared to the price. Would definitely try this place again.

The dining environment is much better than those Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. They have a free parking at back yard. Dishes and courses are tasty too.

ML Kitchen is a great option for someone trying to hit their Asian food cravings. The menu is pretty huge, with all sorts of soups, dishes, boba, smoothies, and so much more. The Honey Walmut Shrimp is truly amazing here.

What can I say about ML Kitchen. The food is very delicious and they have great friendly service. I tell all my friends about this place. They have a nice quaint dining room if you decide to dine in as well as a dining patio on nice days. The parking in the back is awesome since it is very hard to find street parking there.

I'm hovering between a 3 and a 4 rating for this place... they have some pros and some cons.

I got the lunch special Dry Chili Fish Filet, and it was good. Tasted spicy, rich, and savory. It was greasy and heavy like typical Chinese takeout food. The rice was a little disappointing, as it was "fried" but there were no other ingredients in it. The crab rangoon was average, tasting like a normal one you'd find at a Chinese buffet. The price is almost $10 even for the lunch special, which seems wildly overpriced to me. I don't know the market, though, so I'll give them

This place is so great! Food is always fresh and delicious. Delivery is consistently fast and polite through their website. They have a variety of tofu dishes and prepare them expertly. I've had stale fried tofu too many times from other places so I'm grateful for the care they take to cook it properly. Large portion sizes & great prices especially for such high quality.

I originally ordered the Mongolian beef, but they messed up my order and gave me the Dry Chili Chicken instead. Typically I'd be mad, but their Dry Chili Chicken hits different in the best way possible. I've been here multiple times and always order the Dry Chili Chicken.

Fantastic quality. Both authentic and creative. The wonton soup was the best I've ever had and the creative lamb with curry was unique and perfectly executed.

How in the universe does this place have four stars? The food arrived on time but it was disgusting. The chicken tasted like plastic. I literally cannot understand how this place has four stars.

I've ordered quite a few things from here, so far I haven't been disappointed. The staff is always polite and patient with suggestions and descriptions. I'd recommend this spot for sure! The only thing is... if you're calling to go, give it some time. The orders take a bit longer than the given time but the food makes up for it!

I had a good experience doing a to-go order. The menu is straightforward, with English and Chinese translations of dishes. The front desk person confirmed spice level and fifteen minutes later, my meal was ready. I highly recommend the cumin lamb-- the meat portion is quite generous, with a delicious topping of onions and peppers. I can't wait to visit again for either dine-in or another pickup

Lived off of this place for 4 years. the daily combo is a classic but their noodles, soups, ramen, milk tea, smoothies, and apps are also delicious. i usually get takeout but love coming for dine in as well - BYOB makes for a great meal!!

This place is a GEM!! I tried several dishes and all of them have been good. They have the best Wonton Soup and pork dumplings. I would share a picture but I always forget to take one!

First time here, visiting from MN. Love this place, so many varieties and every dish is done with excellent ingredients!

Sesame chicken combo is just okay. Fried rice is biting and bland. Spicy wontons were also boring and mediocre. Soup dumplings (xiao long bao - XLB) we're just okay, not much soup.

Nicer atmosphere than your typical Chinese restaurant. I ordered salt and pepper shrimp (without shell) for takeout. It was underwhelming, not peppery enough. Also a bit pricey for what it was. I'll have to try something else for next time.

Wonderful takeout experience from ML Kitchen! Their food is delicious — we had the lamb with cumin, hot boiled fish filet, dry chili chicken, and Japanese tofu with enoki mushroom. Because we ordered $40 worth, we also got a free chicken fried rice!! Really hit the spot and the food was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. We had a huge amount of leftovers. Well worth the money and we loved supporting a nearby local restaurant.

Wow what a Amazing experience! The Food is Hot Fresh and Veggies where crisp! Only thing is 🌶 is very HOT(spicy) we said little hot, easy hot but it was Spicy! So just be aware other than that So far everything I have had or tasted was phenomenally delicious!
The staff is friendly and helpful.

The jury is still out on if this will become a go-to, but I liked my first takeout experience. I got beef with peppers in black bean sauce - pretty tasty, very tender beef (almost not beef-like in its tenderness), the peppers and onions were cooked well, and the sauce wasn't too salty like the stereotypical Chinese restaurant (I passed on the rice and still didn't find it salty). There's no spiciness marker next to this one on the menu, but there were some jalapeños in there that provided a good kick. The experience felt clean/safe, portions were good, will keep you guys updated

This review is regarding their takeout. It arrived more quickly than expected and the soup was still very hot; this is probably what caused the container to warp, leading to significant leakage of the soup, although there was fortunately a plastic bag knotted around the container for additional containment. The wonton soup itself was essentially flavorless, the wontons were appropriately shrimp-y and accompanied by iceberg lettuce and plain noodles. I also ordered the cumin lamb. This is generally a favorite dish of mine but the flavors didnt burst here the way I had hoped for. I think overall

Fried rice was super tasty, from the rice texture and flavor to protein tenderness, minimal veggies, and huge portion! In the past, I've also had their eggplant and pork ribs dishes - also delicious.

I like the clean, spacious interior. Service was fine. It's a solid Chinese restaurant for everyone living by UIC and frequents Taylor st.

Some friends of mine live near ML Kitchen and suggested I go here for Chinese food. It is a nice, date I say trendy, Chinese restaurant in a popular area. I would also note that it is a lot cleaner than most Chinese restaurants I have been too.

What I ordered: I saw that if you checked in on yelp, you got a free appetizer. They were all out of the app they were advertising so they brought crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was some of the best I have had in Chicago! For my meal I got the orange tofu combo. (Like orange chicken, but with tofu instead.) It came with rice and crab Rangoon! I enjoyed

We went there for three times. So far we had good experience with food and staff. But this time they didn’t serve our appetizers and we didn’t receive it for our combination plate also. Other than that tasty food and beautiful interior decorations and convenient location with parking. Servers are nice and friendly, but it’ll be great if you speak slowly.
