When I was 12 years old, I started playing with compound interest calculators and investing money from my lawn mowing business into mutual funds. I've been a financial planning nerd ever since. In 2007, I established Burgess Financial Planning to help people make smarter investment decisions, free from product-focused sales agendas.
Financial planning is a process that provides you with two important things: An in-depth review of your current financial situation and a blueprint that shows you how to achieve your goals and future objectives. The "elephant in the room" is planning for a lifetime of passive income for the years when you are no longer working.

Nice guy. I had a vague idea of what to expect and was pleased with the results. My questions were answered to my satisfaction and he did not try to sell me on anything.
In addition, the exercise of collecting my various financial documents and analyzing them was useful, that part alone paid for itself.

Sean is awesome! After using Yelp for years to lead me to tasty bites and cocktails, this is actually my first Yelp review. So that would give you an idea of how great our experience was. My wife and I do have a situation well within Sean's wheelhouse (30s, recently married, die hard SF, family/retirement planning) but still, fantastic experience.
