Lara is awesome!! The studio is clean and relaxing. She is professional and super thorough. I had never gotten my brows done before I started going to her because I was so scared someone would over-pluck or wax them away. Lara spent like 20 minutes slowly doing my brows the first time so I could get them exactly how I wanted them. They always look perfect after I see her.

I have been seeing Lara for almost 10 years, which is a pretty good sign of how amazing she is. She uses great products and has a great hand. Waxing lasts a long time, she's very meticulous, and I never had issues of allergies or reactions to the materials she uses. As a big plus, I always enjoy the nice chats we have. She moved from Union square to the Dogpatch/Potrero hill area. which makes driving to her studio even easier!

Been going to Lara for a couple years now and she keeps my eyebrows in great shape. I love not having to tweeze everyday. The wax doesn't hurt too bad and it's pretty quick 15 min. Lara is also super nice and outgoing. I'm not sure what I'll do with my eyebrows if she ever quits so here's hoping she doesn't

After avoiding having my eyebrows waxed for the last 12 years, I worked up the courage to see Lara. She worked some magic and made my eyebrows symmetrical and perfect (after seeing a photo, my friend asked me if I had them microbladed), which I never thought would be possible. My sister and I are going on 6+ years seeing Lara for brows! Lara helped fix my too-thin shape from a waxing nightmare from long ago. My brows look full and natural. I am very picky about my brows-- my thin brow hairs grow out straight from my head and sometimes need "just one hair trimmed" with the scissors before a gap appears.
She's an expert waxer (for EVERYTHING, even your most sensitive areas, ladies-- minimal pain) and for brows can even do a full tweeze to result in a masterful shape when your skin is extra sensitive from a peel or new treatment etc.

Lara recently did my makeup for my sister's wedding and did a fantastic job! I received lots of compliments and felt great for all of the events. She was fun and easy to chat with and her studio is very warm and welcoming. My makeup had to be done earlier in the day (10 am) and lasted all night. Definitely recommend her services!

If you aren't seeing Lara for your brows then you are screwed. She made my brows look the best they have ever looked and this is truly a miracle.
I suffered from over plucking in the 90's which left little hair behind but with a little dye job, some waxing and a lot of love I am back in business.
Thank you LKSS for giving me back the 20 minutes each morning I used to spend trying to make my brows look substantial.

Lara is a pro, a cool person, a great listener, has a great memory, and is extremely considerate of your needs. Her studio is clean, and well kept. She is very receptive to my scheduling texts, and is never annoyed by it. I am in and out in 15 minutes. Bottom line: Go to Lara and you will not be disappointed!!

I tried skipping mascara. I tried using eyeshadow primer. But I couldn't escape getting raccoon eyes from my eyeliner until Lara taught me a trick: holding a small round shader brush perpendicular, use it to pat eyeshadow onto your lash line as you would use eyeliner and then draw over it with eyeliner for a more dramatic look if desired. Great success - eyeliner stayed put all day!

Lara is great! Found this gem from a friend who used to live in SF who went to Benefit where Lara used to work for many years. Now that I live here it was SO hard trying to find someone until I connected with her. I found my lady. Will not go anywhere else!
Pros: she'll listen to what you want and/or trying to do...in my case I was growing out my pencil thin eyebrows. She turned my caterpillars to a natural clean-free arch. I was amazed. Must go!
