Fiona made the hair removal process as calm and painless as possible- no easy feat for a full Brazilian. We made conversation and exchanged travel plans and before I knew it, I was all set to go. The space is gorgeous, bursting with botanicals and natural light.

Had never gotten sugared before so naturally I was nervous. The owner was super nice and made you feel welcome. I will say that this process is not for the unadventurous. I would recommend Sassy Miss Waxy

I recommend this place. So, the business is a house in a nice residential area. The waiting area gives you trippy, bohemian vibes. Lucianne did my services and she's friendly and helps you feel comfortable even if you're there for a painful experience (cuz let's face it, waxing hurts.)

After a summer of waxing at one of the commercial salons in town, I decided to seek a local sugaring experience and found Sassy Miss Waxy. Fiona did a super professional job with the Brazilian sugaring, and my skin looked and felt great afterward (no more angry kitty like the waxing). I was looking for a sugaring place after moving to Austin. There's places much closer to where I live but SMW's reviews were undisputed so I decided to check them out. I've never been happier I did! I have never had a wax before, let alone down there, but I have to say Fiona was great! The ambiance was so chill and calming, her decor was very cool. She was very professional and kind. Like I said I’d never had a wax before and she made sure I was comfortable, talked me through it and taught me some techniques for when I was worried about pain! Ok, all joking aside...Fiona is great! The option for Sugar instead of Wax is wonderful (less ingrown hairs or bumps afterward).

Her place (her house) is wonderfully eclectic and filled with all sorts of things to make you laugh and relax about someone pulling hair out of all of the private spots on one's body. Even when you grip the crap out of her arm b/c you're a big wuss and can't handle it, she's great. She moves quickly and helps you get through it with as little pain as possible.

Fiona is by far the best waxer you could possibly find! She makes you feel like you have known her for years and it is super relaxing! I got my legs waxed and even though it was painful, she talked to me the whole time and really eased my nerves! I will definitely go back to her for all of my waxing needs because I seriously can't say enough great things about her!
