Services
Lawrence F. Schroepfer with his son Orville J. founded " L. Schroepfer & Son Well Drilling" in 1953, and engaged in a well drilling, pump installation and pump repair business. In 1960, Orville and his wife Marilyn took over the daily operation and re-named the company "Schroepfer Well Drilling". The company had been located in Beaufort, but in 1970 Orville & Marilyn moved it to its current location at 7512 Hwy 185 Leslie, MO.
The geothermal system is the most eco-friendly and budget friendly system available. Geothermal systems are green technology and are recognized by the EPA as the most energy efficient heating and cooling system available. With a geothermal system you can condition your home with peace of mind. You can eliminate the inherent dangers involved with using fossil fuels like explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning.
In a new well system, the well and casing is the foundation of your well system, just like the foundation of your home. But without the proper pump system, you still won't have water flowing out of the fixtures. A pump system must be sized and installed properly. Before a well is to be drilled, your water consumption is calculated so that when the pump is sized and installed, the adequate water supply is there.
Hard water stains in the shower, bathtub, and coffee pots can easily be treated. A Water-Right Water Softener can correct those hard water problems. The savings of laundry soap, bath soap, dishwasher soap, and your time saved from scrubbing soap scum and hard water stains offsets the cost of the softener.

I recently bought some acreage in Franklin county and one of the first priorities was to drill a well and let me tell you I found the right people to do the job. The Schroepfer crew was top notch from the first time Darrell and his Dad came out to assess from the final day of installing the tank. Bottom line is Schroepfer did the job right and the whole process was smooth and on time. I want to point out something very important about the whole process. When our well quit working, Schroepfer sent someone within an hour to diagnose the problem and make a temporary fix to get us through the weekend. The next week they came out and replaced our pressure tank. They were quick, professional, extremely responsive and communicative. They explained well what they were doing and gave me a detailed invoice. I definitely recommend their company.

Schroepfer Well Drilling did an excellent job in replacing my Furnace. We were very pleased with their services from start to finish. From my very first contact with them, there we very polite and professional. They came to our house and provide us with an estimate with no pressure of purchasing. Three months later we decided to replace our unit which was on its last leg. This is the second home in which we used the services of Schroepfer Well Drilling and once again they were wonderful to work with and did great work for a very fair price. The first time was in 2000 when they put in a completely new well for a home we were building. This time we bought a fixer upper and they updated the current well which needed a new well cover, much electrical work and a new motor. It works so much better now and they did the work in a prompt and conscientious manner. I would highly recommend them!

I had Schroepfer Well Drilling come out and fix a leak in a water line that provided my cattle with drinking water. The repair was done quickly and professionally. Everyone was great!
