These cats can cook! As always, everyone in our party of four, was impressed with the menu, the specials, the presentation, the generous portions, and the perfectly prepared dinners. We make it our business to try everything that has been ordered (with my family, we share the experience from soup to nuts).
We ordered French Onion Soup, a Country Ham Soup, and Fried Calamari. The soups were very good and the calamari was the most tender any of us had, in some time. Our orders were expertly prepared. The steak was done as ordered, scallops were nicely seared, tender and moist, the sauces complimented the dishes.

Stopped on a Saturday without reservations but they found a table for us without hesitation. Great service. Food was out quickly. It was delicious! My husband had the pork chop and I had the chicken and shrimp special. So much food I couldn't finish it. Highly recommend this restaurant. If we lived closer, we'd be coming here every weekend.

Not only is Sal Vullo and his staff wonderful, but the food is just a good. The Black Stallion had catered my wedding over 14 years ago, and I am happy to say that the quality is as good as it has ever been. This is not your cheap roadside Italian restaurant, as the menu offers a fresh taste and new experience every time we are there. The Black Stallion has had a very hard past couple years, but the excellent remodel of the restaurant didn't leave an empty chair all evening. We look forward to our return to The Black Stallion very soon.

This is another place where you can actually walk into and order a steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. So therefore it's probably worth four stars. The steak was good but the mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like a paste out of a box and the gravy was almost inedible. I don't think I've ever had bad gravy until now. But I guess I'd rather have a good steak and bad mash and gravy, rather than the other way around. But for the price, you're better off going to Texas Roadhouse, it'd be cheaper and the food is WAY better. Hard to find a decent meal under $35. If all the sides and everything else were

This place is absolutely AWESOME. The remodel is gorgeous and the space inside looks way bigger then before. I was immediately seated and waited on which doesn't happen often in other restaurants. You will be getting an amazing bang for your buck as far as serving size goes! The wooden tables and chairs, the marble trim, and down to the last detail on the luxurious carpet, make this a MUST SEE! Anyone within a hundred-mile radius who does not visit this place will regret it. If you are staying in the area or visiting, you NEED to see this. The staff is always polite, and attentive to the guests

My girlfriend and I went for dinner after reading several rave reviews on our local area restaurant review site. The food and service did not disappoint. Our sever Michelle hit on all cylinders in my book. She was pleasant, prompt, professional & proficient in menu knowledge. We really enjoyed her and felt like she cared about our dining experience.
The food was great from start to finish.
