Andrew had fantastic success on the awning side of the business and he decided to shift his focus by specializing in awnings alone, and that's how our proud company has stayed for 100 years and counting. Andrew's son John Sr. (second generation), entered into the business and then John Jr., (third generation) also came into the family business shortly after serving in the Air Force.

We could not be happier with our new deck awning! A. Hoffman Awning did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Their rep, Ben, traveled to our home (in one of the worst storms) bringing with him everything we needed to make a decision on the style, colors, and fabric. The cost was very reasonable, the service extraordinary. Our new deck awning was installed before promised. Victor and Kevin were professional, skilled and completed the install in record time. The owner of this company Donna Hoffman came out to my house with some crew members to address my issues with my Standing Seam awnings in April,we decided they needed to be replaced because of issues with the panels,on the first part of May they came out with 2 crews removed the awnings and replaced the panels right at my house.
Definitely would recommend !!!

This company goes above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their work. I had a bit of a problem with the pitch of my roof and they jumped through hoops to make make my awnings what I had envisioned. Without a lick of hesitation, I highly recommend A. On July 15 we had someone from Hoffman come to our house to give us an estimate on an awning over our basement steps. Water would come into the basement from the stairwell during rainstorms. After 3 weeks when we had heard nothing we called the estimator. He promised to call back that afternoon. It was obvious he had forgotten about us. We did not receive a call back. We called him again the next day and received the same promise. Again no call. We called the office two days later and left a message for someone of authority to call us about the problem. Again no response.

Customer service was excellent from the beginning, and this company did better than just make good on an initial mistake. They went beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer with the installment of awnings plus. They did a fantastic job with my patio awning! It's so wonderful to sit outside more often than I could before. it took 5 weeks from when I signed the contract to having the awning put on my deck, which is why I'm not giving them 5 stars. It was their busy season I think. However, the service was friendly and they walked me through all the options available to me. They were also a bit cheaper than the competition. 4 Stars.

So far, A. Hoffman is very quick to take the down payment, but -- a week later -- is not even able to give me a date on when they will take measurements. "Probably in a couple of weeks," was the response I got. Advice to any prospective customer: get firm dates on the sales contract. Don't make the mistake I did.
I have upgraded this review to 4 stars, because the awning they erected is really nice, does the trick. However, the crew came at a different time than was scheduled, so they had communication deficiencies throughout the project. And I probably agreed to a price that was higher than it

Fantastic to work with all around. From my first call to set up an appointment I could tell we would enjoy this process.
The salesman arrived the day I called to make an appointment, gave me multiple options and we opted to take advantage of 6 month 0%APR financing.
A few days later another employee showed up and took additional measurements while the awning was still in place.
We decided to take down and haul away the old aluminum awning and even make a little money by recycling it.
Today, a crew of five guys arrived right on time and exactly 55 minutes later, voila! New bright white
