In the early 20th century, Austin's Warehouse District was a bustling industrial center with saloons, beer halls, and brothels. It was rambunctious and lively, much like it is today. Back then, it was often referred to as "The Jungles, " getting its name from the area's wild occurrences, including western brawls and drawn pistols.

I had my wedding at The Riley October of 2021. I booked the venue Jan 2020 when they had just been opened. Since the beginning Carly was very helpful and communicative about details and timeline. As the time approached she stayed in contact with my wedding planner to get everything in order for the day of. She was also instrumental in making things work the day of when my wedding planner and I hit some snags with vendors. All of this was super important as we were planning the wedding from out of town.

The Riley is so chic, so clean, and has pretty much everything you need for your event!! Carly and the team were such a pleasure to work with- so patient and so willing to work with us for all our needs! We produced a fashion show on their second floor space, and from the very first venue visit I had with them, they were so enthusiastic and supportive, which is ultimately the reason we ended up choosing to host our show there! They also allowed us to visit as many times as we needed to!! Highly highly highly recommend this venue!!

I'm a little bias because of the name...However, The Riley Building is absolutely striking! They have a gorgeous rooftop with a stunning view of downtown and a customizable glass ceiling. I am a photographer and can confirm the light is gorgeous throughout the whole building, if you are wanting something unique and modern you can not go wrong with the Riley Building!

As a photographer, I would schedule 95% of my appointments here - 5% would be outside. The rooftop with Austin in the background or inside with more Austin views and a wonderful contemporary interior.

I recently used the rooftop for a photo shoot and it was amazing. What a prime location in downtown. I really enjoyed the short elevator ride for easily carrying my equipment and talent. Everything was very clean and the open air layout was very nice. The owner was personable and friendly and not intrusive at all.

The Riley venue is customizable and modern. Their rooftop has unbeatable views in downtown Austin. I think any type of event would be great in the space - corporate or wedding. They just added a beautiful rooftop, so no need to stress about a rain plan. Bonus points for an amazing Venue Manager! Carly is super easy to work with and makes planning your event enjoyable!

Cannot say enough great things about The Riley! Every floor is uniquely beautiful in its own way. The views of downtown Austin are beautiful--especially from their finished rooftop terrace. You can opt to have the roof open or closed so weather is never an issue! Carly, their venue and events director, is amazing to work with and to help make your visions come to life. The Riley is a gem in Austin! Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful location and venue!! I did my video dance at the Riley and I absolutely loved the aesthetic of it! Carly was very welcoming and attentive to me and my dancers. What a great and wonderful experience! I would definitely book this venue for future projects and events! Highly recommended!!!
