The sights of all those beautiful homes and the huge ocean liners were something to behold. All in all a reat day and I highly recommend it. My husband and I went on the trip together and then went again the next day when our friends arrived for the Princess Cruise. Everyone loved it. Great trip and well worth the money.
This year, the Carrie B received an extra thorough going over and we're so thrilled to welcome you back. We're back and cruising 5 days/week! We are following and exceeding CDC recommendations for social distancing and frequent sanitization. Our boat is quite large with plenty of room to spread out in Fort Lauerdale's only climate-controlled salon and the upper open-air sundeck and shaded seating area.

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale's yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades. What could be more memorable than a relaxing cruise through the "Venice of America" followed by lunch or dinner on beautiful Las Olas Boulevard?
The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads' Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests.
I had a wonderful time on this cruise. The captain was very informative and gave a lot of interesting information about the history and background of the houses and yachts, and you could actually understand him through the speakers and sound system which was a big perk. The houses and yachts were beautiful and I was able to enjoy the sun at the same time!
From Seabreeze Blvd and the oceanfront, turn onto E Las Olas Blvd, go west (inland) over the Las Olas Bridge past the yachts and homes, past the shops and restaurants, turn left at SE 5th (North New River Drive East) or turn left at SE 6th Avenue for parking at the Cheesecake Factory. Please note due to current road closures, we recommend parking at the garage located behind the Cheesecake Factory restaurant located on SE 6th avenue.

Fantastic View with a Fantastic Crew!
A great river water adventure. Interesting and enjoyable stories of the people that helped establish Fort Lauderdale. From the properties and homes in which the frontiers resided and the history of bridges being built along the waterways. We even passed by a Seminole Burial Ground The numerous water vessels also brought a lot of attention as we passed by famous peoples yachts. Some were as large as 300 ft, with its own under storage garage.
Some things you can only see from the river! π
Felt like a great value and perfect amount of time to catch the views

💯 % Recommend! This is a must for all Ft Lauderdale visitors and locals. The super friendly, helpful crew make it so much fun! Rhonda is very knowledgeable and humorous. In 2 hrs I’ve learned more about Ft Lauderdale then in the whole time I lived here. So interesting! Rhonda has all the background knowledge and combines it with her personal experience about almost every home you’ ll see on this fantastic cruise. Can’t wait to be back.

This was a very neat and informational tour. It took exactly 1.5 hours. We saw many homes and yachts owned by famous people; homes that were built in the 20's and up. I would suggest that you sit on the right side of the boat as that is the side that the homes will be on as information is given. The strawberry smoothie and fresh lemonade were great!

I loved this cruise! It's a 90 minute trip along the river in downtown Ft. Lauderdale to the Intracoastal Waterway and back. You cruise by fabulous mansions with a tour guide who spills all the beans on the local residents. Many of the homeowners have fabulous yachts conveniently parked in front of their homes. It's really a fun cruise for sightseeing, people watching or just a relaxing time on the water. Snacks and adults beverages are sold on board.
