Before the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) will approve an application for a new building or existing building enlargement, applicants must file zoning exhibits with the county clerk's office or city registrar's office to verify the zoning lot. Not sure how E-title works but somehow we got referred to Absolute Title through them (https://www.abstitle.com/). Someone at the actual title company made the mistake of sending our closing docs and checks via regular mail. This means there was no tracking on this important package. Month and a half later found out from the building management that they never received the docs/checks and that we still weren't the legal owners of the property.
Went with the company because they offered a competitive quote but I guess you get what you pay for.

Meant to write a review a while back but procrastinated. Used E-Title Direct by recommendation in November of '17 and I learned a lot during closing. Most people waste $ going with other Title Insurance companies because they don't understand where the numbers come from and on the grand scheme of things $1-2k might not be a lot of money when tenth of thousands are spent during closing.
Force your attorney to use these guys and save some $$$... Service was fast and professional.
