Located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago at Hubbard and Des Plaines, just southeast of the Halsted-Milwaukee-Grand intersection, City Pool Hall is a great place for non-players and players alike. Enjoy our full restaurant and bar (daily drink specials) between breaks or during the next Chicago sporting event-we have 10 flat screen TVs located on every wall.

Alternatively, enjoy the lovely weather outside at our sidewalk cafe. Have fun playing pool in a large open room with no support columns interfering with your shots. Play by the hour on one of our nine Brunswick Gold Crown IV tables (six 9' and three 8').

I had a peach of a time. Christine (I hope I got her name right) was very nice, the Italian sausage soup was really good and I like the tortilla soup too. I had a nice time practicing and I recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, service and the food was really good. We had fajitas and burgers. They were excellent. Definitely worth a return visit with friends to shoot some pool.

Was there for lunch with a friend on Saturday. My burger was dry and fries was cooked on old oil. They must change their oil for sure. I will go to that place again, if the oil will need change I will definitely will be sure they will change that oil

This is a really nice spot off the beaten path and part of me doesn't wanna reveal this to the masses but I would like this place to stay in business. They have 8 and 9 foot tables nicely spaced, typically a nice quiet crowd, at least at the times I go. There's parking out front but kinda limited however, it's in walking distance from a Jewel-Osco so you could park there for free and walk the 2 blocks to the bar.

Nice little getaway. Buffalo wing were delicious. Rent the balls, buy drinks, liten to old music and play pool. Nice place

Very nice place. Stopped by with a colleague while in town for work. The tables were in good condition (no rips, tears, or stains in felt). They offer a decent selection of beers (can't speak to the mixed drinks). The menu looked good overall for a small pool hall/bar. I got the nachos. They were so-so. Again, the place was clean and the tables were in good shape. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're nearby.
