Helios Medical Equipment was created based upon my experience working as a manufacturer representative for a national compression company. In my former position, I visited physicians, therapists, and medical supply stores from Panama City to Naples. I wanted to create a retail experience that combined the best aspects of what I had observed during my visits.
Helios Medical Equipment sells, rents, and repairs home medical equipment: wheelchairs, walkers, knee walkers, scooters, home hospital beds, and lift chairs. Other products we sell include: ADL (aids for daily living), bath safety products, cushions, canes, wound care supplies, incontinence supplies, diagnostic equipment and pain management supplements.

Services
We offer delivery of purchased products and/or equipment to the following counties: Hillsborough, Pasco, North Pinellas. Typical delivery time is 1-2 days for items that are kept in stock at our store. Our delivery charge is $50. For deliveries outside our area of coverage, please contact us for delivery charge.
We offer a large selection of medical equipment and supplies at our store. If you do not see pictures of what you are looking for, please contact us and we will assist you. If you are a physician, therapist, or facility that would like us to carry inventory on a specific product, please email us with further details.

All I can say is "wow" I wouldn't buy from anyone else. Shawn and Haylee are two genuine, sincere people that go above and beyond for their customers! Even to the point of staying late on a Friday night out of the kindness of their heart to assist me with a medical device I purchased that I couldn't set up correctly. I recently lost a knob/screw to a leg on my four wheel walker. I searched on line and was unsuccessful in finding a replacement part.
I called Helios Medical Equipment, spoke with Shawn and sent him a picture of the part.
Shawn took initiative, called his supplier and said he could get the replacement part in a week. This was such a pleasant surprise for me to have him do this legwork.
The part came within a week and fits my walker perfectly. I would highly recommend Helios. Superb, above and beyond customer service!

Excellent in so many ways ! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. They have everything you can think of. I was amazed, this was my first visit following a almost ‘emergency’ leg vein procedure. I consulted with Shawn at Helios because I was suffering from severe cervical pain, and was in the market for a medical grade reclining chair in the hope that I could stave off surgery. I use the term "consulted," because that was the way he made me feel during our time together. I have to have compression on my legs anytime that I'm out of bed, so basically all of my waking hours I have to have this otherwise the lymphedema is very very bad. Sean Hall here at Helios medical equipment, has been a tremendous help getting me fitted and advising on adjustments. I want to give him a shout out that he carries a very broad line of equipment from the compression stuff I have to have to lift chairs to scooters, canes etc. I highly recommend this man if you're looking for someone who truly cares about people.

We were searching for a hospital bed as well as for a bed trapeze on a very short notice.
Joe Carr came to the rescue. Not only did he provide the necessary equipment, but it was done the same day as the request was put forth.
Joe did a superb job in installing the equipment and did it with the out most speed as well with his wonderful attitude.

This store and the gentleman who operate it are all you need for medical supplies. We had no idea what would be involved in taking care of my husband's 95 year old father at home. The care that we have gotten from Joe is invaluable. If they don't stock something...they will order it . It is truly one stop shopping for all your in home care needs. They deserve every star they get.

These guys are awesome!!! They are incredibly helpful and kind. I have been there several times recently, and each time they have done whatever it takes to get me solutions. I can’t say enough good things about them. And the store is new and clean and doesn’t have that “stuffed medical supply feel” to it. It’s so great to have a nice medical supply store back in the neighborhood!!!

I went there looking for help to either get a new walker or have mine fixed.joe took many minutes out of his busy schedule to help me. Bottom line he ordered parts an fixed my walker for me.
