Fantastic store run by wonderful and very patient family. They helped me look at multiple rugs and narrow it down to 2. They then brought them to my home to see how they would look. They really went out of their way to make me comfortable with my purchase and also helped battle a stubborn sectional to have it placed perfectly.

In my 60 years of shopping for quality rugs, I have placed Rita Rugs at the top of my list for quality, service and price. The elderly salesman my wife and I dealt with was patient, knowledgeable, and seemed to know what we were looking for. It was great working with Shan and his team. They were very patient with us as we looked at rugs, explained the differences in price and quality, and let us take them home to see how they looked. In the end, my spouse and I purchased two rugs from Rita Rugs and they are beautiful. Would highly recommend them.

We just purchased a new rug to go under my piano. We were on a tight timeline bc of the scheduled piano move, and Shan did everything possible to make our rug purchase easy, enjoyable, and safe. He has an amazing selection of beautiful handmade rugs, and he was very helpful, quickly identifying our needs and offering some wonderful choices to try out. We will certainly be returning to Rita!

I had been looking for a 9'x12' oriental rug and matching runner, for several weeks. When I visited Rita Oriental Rugs; Dileep was patient and helpful; I was particularly taken with the range and quality of the rugs in inventory. I described what I was looking for and Dileep, who must have a photographic memory for where each rug is in the store, told me he knew exactly the rug that I was describing, and he dug deep into a tall pile of rugs, and pulled out a rug that was exactly what I was looking for. Cost is an important consideration but Dileep arranged for a very fair price. He

Sean was just lovely to work with. I checked the website and found a rug I fell in love with. Naturally, I have such great taste that it was WAY out of my price range. No matter, Sean walked over to a different pile of rugs and found one in the same style well within my price range. He seems to have an almost photographic memory of rugs in his shop, very impressive! The prices can't be beaten and it's clearly a family operation with deep roots here. I will be returning to clean an old Persian rug I own and for any new rugs I might purchase. Thank you!

I've been buying here for nearly 20 years. Just purchased a runner for my entry foyer. As before, both pricing and the availability of
rugs from which to choose was terrific. Narrowed my choices to three rugs,
took them all home to live with for a couple of days and kept the one we liked the best, returning the others with no problem. Don't waste your time and money shopping anywhere else for oriental rugs. Rita is THE place to go. Both Sean and Dileep were wonderful to work with.

The rug I bought looks perfect! They said that they would hold off on charging my credit card for 3 days and I could just bring it back if I didn’t like it. They even offered to let me take several rugs home so I could see which one I liked best. I’ll be back to see them since I need a few more rugs. The staff was very welcoming and patient with me and my indecisiveness.

My husband and I just bought an absolutely beautiful rug at Rita's at an amazing price tonight. Sean assisted us and his team pulled out all the rugs we were interested in. Amazing and knowledgable service. Don't waste your time at the big retailers or anywhere else in the city! Shopping anywhere else, especially a chainstore, is stupid when this place exists. Prices range from $200 to over 5000, they worked with my price range (got a rug for 700).
They let me take three rugs home to try in my condo and return the other two. They let me keep a rug for three days before I decided it didn't look right in my house and still let me return it. I could not be happier with my 8x11 area rug and the service provided. They ask where the rug was going in the house and helped me choose one that was right thickness and hardiness for

We have had such a great experience at Rita Rugs - so impressed by the quality of rugs and customer service. We just purchased a new house and were searching for large oriental rugs for our dining room, living room and a smaller rug for our hallway. After some research we had 4 stores selected in Chicago to visit and stopped by Rita's first and we are so glad we did - we didn't even need to go to the other 3 stores after visiting Rita's.
