First things first. We all know how difficult it is to find a reliable mechanic in South Florida. Well, the search is finally over thanks to Kody, Scott and Kirk. I was referred to this family owned business buy a good friend of mine. I called and they had me scheduled, diagnosed and out the door within a couple days. They also provided some advice to help save a couple bucks if my particular issue happened again at on the water.
I will never call another service provider as long as these guys are around

Absolutely outstanding service and communication at Preferred Marine. I have now re-powered two boats with these guys. It was a pleasure working with with the Beattie Family. I love how they are family owned and treat you as family. You don't have to think twice about what they tell you. If you are considering a re-power, service or upgrades, this is the place to go. All I can say is if you're thinking of re-powering or rebuilding your boat this is the place. Kirk was fantastic. Great to work with. Kathy as well. Don't forget Kody too. What a great team and great family operation. Wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my 2000 - 262 Intrepid. Kirk led me all the way through. I live in North Florida so wasn't on site. Trusted the reviews and that's it. Knew no one. They were right. 225HP Mercury to replace my 2000 - 200 Yamaha OX66. After a few conversations I said just do it like you would do yours! The best of best when it comes to taking care of your boat. I have a 39 Nortech and had several damaged and poorly taken care of parts from our last service provider and these guys made it good as new. I called them and in less than a week they came with their trailer and picked up my boat. Kirk responded to all of my texts extremely fast and helped me with every little detail i needed taken care of on my boat. These guys have earned my business for lifetimes on end. Super pleased and would recommend to all.

Pricing was very competitive, but beyond the pricing their communication and professionalism was absolutely top notch. Kathy sent a detailed invoice, provided a very accurate estimate, and made the scheduling very seamless. Kirk and his team were able to not only perform the service, but also helped with a couple other things on the boat that I am extremely grateful for.

They just installed twin 350 Verado’s on my Contender 32ST. Work was done in one day. Everything went exactly as they said. Very professional and family owned business. Kathy and her husband treated me like their best costumer and made me feel really comfortable. The two sons, Kody and Kirk, took time to make sure my boat was perfect. I highly recommend them.

Preferred marine went well beyond my expectations. They gave me the best deal on trip Verados for my 36 and Kirk the owner even promised me another 10 mph out of her which I got. It's a great family owned business that has wonderful customer service and they kept me in the loop with all of the work as the job went along. I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for quality work to be done on their boat and motors to go see them. You won't be disappointed.
