He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver School of Law where he served on the Law Review. Admitted to practice in 1982, he has handled a variety of types of law, but has found Estate Planning to be the area in which he wishes to specialize.
Justin Blow joined the firm in 2013 with over ten years' experience as a criminal trial lawyer. He has quickly learned Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate and Guardianship/Conservatorship. What took me 5 to 7 years to teach other lawyers, Justin has learned in 3 years. While Denise was born in New York, she has lived in Colorado since she was a child and is proud to call Colorado her home. She has been here at the firm with her "second family" for over a decade and finds being a paralegal extremely satisfying and appreciates that her career as a paralegal provides her with the ability to help people.

On Jan. 1, 2019, I unexpectedly took over the financial and medical affairs of my first cousin because of the fatal illness of her long-time companion. After attending a seminar several months ago, I knew this was the firm I wanted to handle my will and trust. Attended a Free Living Trust Seminar last week which included one hour free consultation with an estate lawyer.
Had my appt today with JR Phillips and was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and no-bull attitude.
He was very upfront as to what he recommended in the area of wills and living trust issues. Gave me great advice about getting POA's for my daughter just in case something happens to her and I need to step in to take care of her affairs.
His office area was very professional and comfortable and his staff and other lawyers were great.
