I highly recommend Tidewater Chimney Sweeps. I had requested my chimney inspected and cleaned and was prepared to pay $119 (which is a fabulous price for both things). I was told it did not need a cleaning after the inspection, and was charged just $59. I could have been ripped off so easily but was not; that spoke volumes to me about the character and integrity of the company. I feel more secure knowing the technicians are fire fighters, as well. Who better to inspect a chimney than a fire fighter! The technician, Chris, texted me when on his way and was in time. I mentioned a couple of issues

The representative was here in the allotted time. He worked diligently on everything he was here to do and explained everything to me. All while a 5 month old puppy watched his every move! We appreciated him and his work ethic!! With thanks!

Great experience! Fair price. We used Tidewater Chimney Sweep for dryer vent clean out and an inspection of our fireplace in our new home. Damon inspected and did repairs all in one visit and took the time to review all our systems in the basement/crawlspace and make recommendations to improve fire safety. He also took the time to educate me on fireplaces and our home since I have never lived in a home with a fireplace. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Damon and his team - and we are excited to use our fireplace when is cools down!

Very professional. very clean. Great people that work there. Jennifer is who set my appointment she was very kind and she even went above and beyond to help. I received the best quote from this company But Jennifer was my deciding factor with going with the company. Chris is who came out to my house and he was very kind himself. He was very clean and honest with his work I couldn't have been any more happier with these folks. I would definitely recommend this company for anybody who's looking to get their chimney cleaned and inspected.
