Dr. Mike McGough, a native of eastern Ohio, graduated from The National University of Health Sciences in the Chicago-land area in 2004. Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. McGough attended Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
I have been an AcuHealth patient for years. Dr. Mike and his staff have helped me recover from two car accidents as well as the aches and pains of getting older. The prevalence of low back pain (LBP) is very common, as 70-85% of ALL PEOPLE have back pain that requires some sort of treatment at some point in their life. On a yearly basis, the prevalence of back pain averages 30% and once you have back pain, the likelihood of it happening again is extremely high.
Lower back pain causes can stem from many locations in the body (as well as a combination of locations), which always makes it interesting when a patient asks, ".doc, where in my pain coming from?" In context of a typical 1st visit we take an accurate history and perform a physical exam to try to reproduce symptoms to give us clues as to what tissue(s) may be the primary pain generators.

Dr Mike is an amazing doctor. Very nice office and wonderful staff, everyone made me feel comfortable and like I was at home. The hydro beds is where it's at, lol. I walked in having arm, shoulder neck pain and when I walked out my body worked like it's supposed too. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Dr. Mike. Is awesome. I went in with horrible sciatic pain from pregnancy and a baby that was transverse. He adjusted my spine and performed the webster technique. The week after, I realize my back pain was 100% gone and my baby had flipped head down. It has been such a life changer. I highly recommend his practice for pregnant women with back pain or a breech/transverse baby.

My entire experience with Dr. Mike and his team has been outstanding. The Office team is friendly, responsive and helpful. I felt comfortable immediately. Dr. Mike listens to your concerns and calmly guides you toward solutions. He has been helping me with accupuncture. I have seen a definite improvement. I plan on continuing.

I've seen Dr. Mike for nearly a month and a half and after a few sessions without improvement, we decided to get an MRI. 3 bulging discs were found in my lower back, thankfully they were minor enough to fix without surgery. My pain started at a 9 and now rests between 2 to 4. I have been searching a long time for results and I was starting to lose hope. He is a wonderful Chiropractor.

Everyone who works here are helpful and truly care about you. My favorite is the water massage table before going for an adjustment from Dr. Mike. At my age (67) the winters can really do a number on your muscles, making you feel stiff and the massage and the adjustment do the trick every time. The difference in my movement when I come in and when I leave are like night and day.

I have been to many chiropractors and Dr. Mike is one of the best. If you are looking for a great chiropractor don't hesitate to go see him. I go for a "tune up" once a month. It keeps my body in alignment and my joints lubricated. I started going monthly after my neck pain was alleviated and have had no problems since. I strongly recommend monthly adjustments once you are feeling better.

I have suffered from migraines for years and completely given up on chiropractic services. Because every-time I was adjusted it would swing me into a horrible migraine. Dr. Mike's techniques are amazing and alleviated so much stress in my neck and back. This was the first time in a long time I left an adjustment and felt amazing!!! I would refer AcuHealth to anyone!

I was referred here by my husband who went here after a car accident. The staff is great! I have been dealing with a herniated disk in my lower back and it pinched on my sciatic nerve since January 2018. I love that they have different things to help each person with their back. I was finally able to get off the meds I have been on since January and not do the shots in my back due to the adjustments from them. I tell everyone I know about them and how wonderful they are!

I've gone to Mike following an auto accident with excellent treatment. He gave me good advice about how to deal with auto insurance companies, with the utmost integrity about the whole insurance process. Another time for headache treatments. He is very good and professional. I didn't know of him before. His staff is very professional too and fees are very competitive. I love Mike and his nice staff. They never pressured me into services that were not needed, in fact I never felt any pressure at all. They feel like friends and family there. I would never hesitate to refer someone to him.

I have been a patient for over a year. I was referred by a friend who is also a patient. Although, I believe in chiropractic care, I had been deterred by visiting a few that wanted too see me weekly without being able to provide a diagnosis.
My experience here has been wonderful. The whole team is kind and welcoming.
When I leave, I feel great. My posture is improved, pain is diminshed, and mobility is increased.
