I had a good feeling about Select Pavers from the beginning, as Luiz (one of the owners) was who came out to give the bid. He was able to answer any/every question I had, and it was obvious he knew his trade inside and out. We had gotten bids from a couple other companies, and I think they might have sent out sales reps (who don't have experience in doing the work themselves), which made a big difference for me on confidence of the outcome.
Luckily for us Select Pavers were not only knowledgeable, they were also extremely skilled, kind, and very much care about the quality of their work.

I had my brick patio replaced with pavers and my aging grass lawn replaced with artificial sod. There are a few redwood trees in my side yard so there were a lot of roots that had to be removed.
Luiz and Neto alternated overseeing the project and their crew were very efficient in what they do. They brought in the right people and equipment to do the job. They were able to bring to life the design I had in mind for my backyard like a picture plucked right out of my head. Top notch service from start to finish and post work service. We had our backyard paved and lighting by Luiz and team back in November 2020. We had our entire home remodeled and the only time where I felt completely confident and satisfied was when Luiz and team first set foot to start the work. We worked with Luiz from Select Pavers to redo our backyard in Fremont. He's super friendly, upfront about things, and doesn't try to sell you things you don't want or need. The difference with the other paver we talked to was that Luiz comes by himself, he doesn't send a sales person.
They were more than happy to reuse parts of the planters to reduce cost and avoid unnecessary work, we never felt pressured to do things differently I any way.

Luiz helped me fix up my backyard in April 2020 and everything is still in great shape a year later. He installed the pavers, including a landing step for my French doors, as well as a natural gas fire pit and bbq. Luiz helped me pick out the right size bbq and put it together for me. It has been almost a year since I got my driveway done by Select Pavers, and the pavers have held up well. So finally posting this review. These guys are amazing! They dont subcontract the work like a lot of other construction companies. Luiz or Neto actually supervise the work themselves. So the quality of the work is really good! Select Pavers removed our old cement patio and wood deck and installed pavers and artificial turf. We are very happy with the results. Of the four contractors from whom we got estimates, Select was by far the lowest ($7k lower than the next cheapest, and more than $20k lower than the highest). I wanted to update the the exterior of the home while also dealing with a crackled asphalt driveway and ugly green perimeter walkways. I got multiple bids and met Luiz and Neto from Select Pavers who suggested also updating the front entry with porcelain pavers. That turned out to be an excellent idea. Amazing job. I used them several years ago to redo my whole front area/driveway. They gave us the best quote, and delivered on both the price and the schedule they committed to in the quote.
Even better, I called them recently because the drains they installed were overflowing. Even years later, they came out, inspected their work, and found that we had some leaves from a nearby tree that fell in the drain and clogged it. So not even their fault, but they inspected/fixed it.
I will always Neto & Luiz anytime I need work done that they can accomplish - incredibly responsible, nice, and clear

Luiz and Neto with Select Pavers were excellent to work with! They have worked with us on multiple projects including our front driveway, side paths, backyard patio and custom firepit! They were very accommodating and made sure our drainage, electrical, water and gas lines were all properly installed and cohesive.
