Sewer View was founded on the idea that a sewer inspection should be unbiased. We do not clean or repair sewer lines, so our customers can have peace of mind that our recommendation is our true opinion. We provide that peace of mind for a rate of $139 for an initial sewer inspection. We do not upcharge for difficult access to the sewer line like pulling a toilet, roof access or going through a crawl space.

We inspect sewer lines. We inspect kitchen lines, lines that go to septic tanks, lines that go to leach fields, storm drains, perimeter drains, downspout drains, sump pump lines, grease trap lines. We have inspected dryer vent lines, HVAC lines, electrical conduit lines, yard sprinkler lines, swimming pool lines, inside walls (looking for dead animals).
After arriving at the property and introductions, the first order of business is to find the best way to access the sewer main. Many times we will walk around the outside of the house first to determine if there is a clean-out somewhere on the property that will give access to the sewer main. Many times, if the house does not have a basement the best way is to use the vent on the roof of the house.
Since Sewer View started in 2008, we have inspected well over 55,000 sewer lines in Denver and the surrounding front range. We give reasons why we believe a line is good or bad. We won't say ''because we said so''. You will never see a recommendation that says, "Consult a Professional". We are the professionals!
You could just still have a root problem. Keep in mind roots replenish themselves the same way your shrubs and trees do above ground. When you cut them back they just come back lusher and thicker. Up until the 1980's sewer lines were pretty much made of clay. Most of these lines have no gaskets in the joints, so they naturally leak into the soil when there is water standing in the line.

I had a plumbing company come out prior to Sewer View that told me i needed to replace part or all of my line for $17-25K. It turns out that I did not have a problem with my line, just roots and some additional obstructions.

Staufer Team Real Estate has been referring out Sewer View for years. In all that time I have not heard a single complaint about their timeliness, professionalism, or their pricing. I would highly recommend them. They don't do repairs so they deliver honest service, since they have no vested interest in doing repairs.

Rusty showed up right on time and made quick work of identifying our issues. He was really clear in explanation as well. I love that they have a set price for the service and that they don't do repairs. Beware of companies that do the camera and the repairs. He identified major tree roots at our tap but the sewer line itself was in good shape meaning it only needed cleaning and not any repairs!

We called sewer view to get a second opinion after a plumber diagnosed our bathroom drain as requiring a p trap repair. For those that don't know, a p trap repair is pretty heavy work that requires demo-ing most of the shower, if not all.
When the gentleman with sewer view came out, he not only helped us determine that our drain was fine (saw it on the camera), and he helped clean out our p trap, as well as helped looked for a drain part! He was fantastic, truly the best. He was knowledgeable, polite, clean, and really went above and beyond the scope of work.

This company was great to work with! Sewer View was recommended to us by a contractor while I was looking to replace out sewer line. If you ever have the need for scoping of your line, please don't waste your time on money on a cheap plumbing company. Use Sewer View for your scoping and find a company to come clean it first who only does the cleaning.
I was in a bind to get my line cleaned and scoped after a cheap 24/7 plumbing company (Rooter Town) came out to "clean and scope". Rooter Town told us that even after cleaning our sewer line, that we needed a full line replacement

Tim and Sewer View are the best at sewer scopes. Honest and quick to respond. Other companies only scope from the house to the street, Sewer View scopes under the house also, which I have found out is very important. They don't clean sewer lines or do repairs, so they have no reason to try and take advantage, as I have found that other companies do.

Extremely professional and detailed in reporting any issues or potential problems. I am a real estate agent for 14 years in Denver and highly recommend their services. They are only there to evaluate the sewer line therefore there is not any worry that they will misrepresent the problems because they are not invested in any repairs.

I have been a realtor for 20 years and this company is part of my team. I have called them on the listing side to verify other people's work and always on the buying side. This IMHO is the best money the buyer can spend and Tim and Mike really keep things in perspective not alarmists and because they don't do repairs they aren't vested in the outcome. I love them.
