Andrew-Sunjun Kim, DDS strives to provide the highest standard of clinical excellence, always keeping the best interest of his patients in mind by keeping up with the latest innovations in dentistry. A native of Southern California, Dr. Kim graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kim for over a year now and he is always very friendly with patients and his examinations are very thorough. He consistently makes sure I am comfortable when being operated on and often describes exactly what he’s doing or what problems he’s seeing. He makes it very easy to understand what I need to do better. I’m very happy I made the choice to switch to Allegra Dental!

The best dentist I've ever had! I have genetically bad teeth and in the beginning of visiting Allegra, I swear I was coming in once a month. In that time, I really got to know the staff, and they were always so polite and informative. Katie is awesome! So sweet and knowledgeable.
Really their entire office staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Kim is so nice and really explains what's going on with your teeth and then maps out a plan of attack to handle all the issues. I came to Dr. Kim’s office with some serious dental issues. Dr. Kim did a thorough exam and took the time to map out a strategy to get me back my smile. I have never met a doctor as skillful and caring as Dr. Kim. He has an amazing staff that immediately puts you at ease. After years of hiding my smile, Dr. Kim and his wonderful staff gave me a smile worth sharing. I honestly didn’t think that was going to be possible. If you need a new dentist, see Dr. Kim. I love the team at Allegra Dental. Everyone is so nice here. Dr Kim explains everything very well and always wants what's best for you. Cleanings have been quick and painless. I've gotten a few treatments done and have spent a lot of hours in the chair over the past few years. Dr Kim has always made sure I was comfortable and was not in any pain. Allegra dental is the best. I first found Dr. Kim after I moved to Tustin and had an old crown pop off. They got me in for an emergency, as a first time client, the very next day. I’ve been a customer ever since and have sent quite a few friends to them also. Dr Kim is awesome and his staff excels at what they do as well. He has the latest technology which is fun. Whoa! If there is a miracle than only at Alegra Dental with Dr. Kim. I have spent thousands of dollars on repairs of my teeth so they only could last no more then 5 years, if that.
So now with Dr. Kim I have a high hopes ups, that my teeth will last bit longer. So far I am very impressed with the works, and that is just the beginning. We have about 6 months to a year of work on my teeth. TBC.

To find a dentist you truly trust and know they have your best interest in mind, along with the knowledge and technology to back it up, is a rare find. I wish I would have found him long ago so I could have avoided my dental troubles. The only downside is that they don't accept my insurance. Instead they charge me full price and then submit the claim to insurance who sends me a reimbursement check. I also think they have high rates, but you get what you pay for with dental care I've learned.

I had to cancel 2 appointments with Dr. Kim due to unforeseeable medical issues. I was told because I cancelled he would not see me EVER! Seriously! It appears that money is more important to Dr. Kim than patients. So beware you are only permitted to cancel no more than 2 appointments or you are OUT! He should review the Hippocratic Oath that he took.

I have personally been looking for a dentist over and over again for over 10 years. In the past Between horrible front desk service, to a revolving door of employees, to poorly executed dental work. Being referred to Dr. Kim was a life changer for me. His office staff is friendly, consistent, timely (even if I'm not always!) and so professional. Paying to be tortured is how I view dentists. I was traumatized during a childhood dental appointment and it's been hard to find a dentist that is patient, gentle and accommodating. Five years ago I gave Dr. Kim & the Allegra team a chance, and they've really helped build my confidence. Over the last 5 years, I've had a total of 5 crowns and a couple of fillings, and although the feeling is unpleasant, Dr. Kim and the team are really good at making you feel comfortable.

The whole office has been so supportive! They really make everyone feels at ease. The office staff knows all of the patients by name, and is very friendly. Dr. Kim is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a lot of distractions (Netflix, Pandora, etc.) during the process, so it's easy to just go into your happy place and not focus on the cleaning. Dentists often get a bad rap, but this office shows that they don't all deserve it!

I love coming and getting my teeth cleaned here at Allegra Dental!! Everyone is real nice and professional. Dr. Andrew Kim is very honest, nice and professional. My last dentist told me that I needed to replace a few teeth because I have lines/cracks, (that I have had for many years and he never brought that up before). Dr. Kim was honest and said with proper care, he thinks we just need to keep an eye on them and go from there. I have been back 3 times and so far so good. I tell all my clients about this place, I highly recommend coming here for all your dental needs!

I've had an immense fear of the dentist since I was little, and it has only grown since becoming an adult. It's incredibly difficult for me to find dentists I trust, so I'm extremely grateful to have found Allegra Dental. Dr. Kim is professional, knowledgeable, and an all-around great dentist. I've been a patient of Dr. Kim's for over a year and he is literally the BEST dentist. Thanks to my sweet tooth, I've had my fair share of dental procedures done over the years, but none can compare to the quality of Dr. Kim and his staff! A year ago, I came to their office due to one of my upper molars becoming infected and developing an abscess. I was in excruciating pain and we ended up having to extract the tooth. The treatment plan was to replace that tooth with an implant. Once my gums healed, we started the implant process.

If you're looking for brilliant dentistry, state of the art technology in your every day office, and the warmest and most sincere doctor, choose Dr. Kim! I had the worst dental pain and most places don't open after hours given my busy schedule, but Dr. Kim was so willing to accommodate my schedule needs and guess what, I decided to drive an hour to reach his practice and it was the best decision ever! I would totally trust my whole family's dental needs to Dr. Kim... Just wished he was a little closer to LA :)

Allegra dental office is wonderful. The office is high tech and very pleasant atmosphere. Today was my first visit there. I had the pleasure of having Nichole as my dental assistant. She was so explained the procedure very thoroughly was was very patient and understanding with me. Also the front office receptionist was very polite and helpful. Dr. Kim was very professional and very informative of the procedure I was having done. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a new dentist. Dr. Kim and his staff are one of a kind!

As soon as I waked in I was welcomed by the 2 girls in the front. They were very nice and made me feel like I was truly welcomed.
The waiting area is beautifully decorated and modern. There's a table that you could get coffee and a water cooler right next to it. Very awesome. I didn't wait very long to get called in.

I drove 45 minutes out of my way to come and get the teeth whitening service here and it was well worth the price.
The office and staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The whole process took around an hr and half and and i couldn't be happier with the experience!!!

Dr Kim is literally the best dentist. I was traumatized as a kid by my childhood dentist but Dr Kim makes me feel very comfortable and he always makes sure I'm feeling ok. You can also watch Netflix while he's working on your teeth! So awesome. The office is clean, doesn't smell like a typical dental office and the staff are really friendly. I don't like going to the dentist often but Dr Kim is so friendly and gentle that I have no choice but not to be afraid (; best dentist and dental office ever!
