Duane was the grandson of Floyd "Pop" Dreyer, who built Dreyer Honda, the oldest Honda dealership in the United States. Duane began Dreyer Motorsports selling Yamaha products. After many successful years, he added Suzuki, and then Kawasaki. Dreyer Honda and Dreyer Motorsports are located side by side on Washington Street.
Today, both dealerships are still owned and operated by the Dreyer family. We offer the largest selection of pre-owned inventory in the area. Out of the love for his grandfather, Mike Dreyer wrote this biography on Floyd "Pop" Dreyer. He researched to see if the stories about his grandfather were true or just exaggerations. He found out many stories were understated. Floyd Dreyer was inducted into Knoxville's National Sprint Car hall of Fame and Indianapolis' National Midget Hall of Fame.

From the moment I walked in everyone treated me like an old friend. Sales team (specifically Anderson) is not pushy at all, but was extremely helpful. I was interested in a couple bikes. He made it crazy easy to compare the two. Ended up getting a 2022 Kawasaki z900 ABS! Every one there was great to work with! 10/10 customer service.

I just bought a Brand new 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero. My sales person was Anderson. What an amazing person to work with on this purchase. I first asked him way back in July when the 2022s were coming out. He had no time frame to give but still took down information and add on parts that I wanted to go with it. Every few weeks Anderson would call me to keep me updated and to see if I was still interested. Then boom, the call came that it had arrived. I wasn't able to make that day but had to wait 3 days to work a deal. Anderson walked out in the rain the Friday afternoon to look over my trade

Bikes have been scarce this year, like lots of other things. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a 21 MT09 SP with the help of the Folks at Dreyer.
Anderson was excellent to work with and very communicative throughout the process while we waited for a model to become available.

I bought this 2014 Yamaha FZ1 a few months ago. My sales person was Anderson. He was very knowledgeable about the bikes. I love the bike, my favorite season to ride is in the fall. I’m a new rider. Took the MSF class and got endorsed. I’ve done a lot of research over the years on motorcycles and finally pulled the trigger to start this new skill. I worked with Anderson to start finding the first bike for me. I could immediately sense his passion and knowledge for the sport. Came down to my level to help me understand his recommendations for bike choice. He was real with me and didn’t try to push me into something way out of my skill range.

I took the MSF Motorcycle Basic Rider Course and I found the whole experience AMAZING! Sean and Jacob are extremely knowledgeable and getting my endorsement was fun as well as educational. I bought a 2018 Honda PCX from Dreyer and had it delivered as I haven't been out much due to COVID. NADA value was $2,600 and I ended up paying $3,300 with taxes, doc, title and $100 for delivery. The price was a bit high, but scooter availability during the pandemic is spotty at best, so it is what it is. They did discount me as it was listed at $2,999 and they reduced the pricing to include the taxes, doc fees, so that was nice of them! Thanks!
