Services
Mary Everitt, LMT, founded Rapha Healing Arts out of a desire to guide people into a space of relaxation and renewal. Through my work and life experiences I've found that we often have emotional connections to the changes that happen in our bodies. Be it life events, illness, trauma, new and old injuries, or daily stressors; these require mental and emotional energy that finds a home in our physical tissue.
Massage is a collaborative process, in which we help you find release, energy, connection, and restful ease in your body while addressing areas of tension, pain and restriction. New Client Intro - for your first visit please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure we have time for a complete intake.
Bodywork and Massage Therapy can be supportive tools in addressing trauma in the body by helping the nervous system to find a place of safety and rest. What is trauma? It can be any sort of disturbing experience or series of experiences that affect us, and keep the body engaged in a fight, flight or freeze response.
Feature Article: The writer, a long-term client and former nurse shares her experience of the benefits massage through her surgery recovery and mental health. Massage is a holistic form of care. The physical and mental benefits of massage therapy can be seen especially when working with the elderly.
I've been geeking out on mind/body articles and research recently. I will continue the trend in an effort to stay up to date and to offer you tidbits of fascinating things. The more I journey in this field and let my mind be blown by the science, mystery and the everyday experience, the more I know there's room for the mixture.

I had an absolutely heavenly prenatal massage by Mary at Rapha Healing Arts. I am 32 weeks pregnant, and understandably everything aches at this point. She focused on the areas I told her were bothering me the most, and yet still made time for my lesser pains. She made sure I was comfortable with the temperature of the bed, and with my large baby belly. I’m certain she even put my little baby to sleep during the massage. I will be going back to see Mary again! She is highly recommended!

My massage at Rapha Healing Arts was wonderful. It was so easy to communicate with Mary about my needs. She heard my concerns about previous massage experiences I had had (with other practitioners) and assured me that my experience with her would be different (which it certainly was!). Her techniques and touch are marvelous and I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated after my massage! Thank you Mary!

Mary is a kind, deep soul who puts her whole heart into caring for the person in front of her. I was impressed with her warm professionalism, respect, and intentionality. I will definitely be booking with Mary again and I will recommend her to others in my network.
