DO NOT SELECT THIS COMPANY. Awful services and resolution. The lead Mike who unloaded our boxes was absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to his own team, making it difficult for us to properly provide instruction for our needs. Furthermore, they dropped the parts of our Sleepnumber in the garage like it was trash, breaking parts. One of the younger guys on the job left due to the disrespect of their team lead. When we called to get further assistance in moving heavy furniture and boxes where they need to go, the customer service was abysmal and we were told that we gave a glowing review

We rented a POD and they recommended pack and load services as one of the businesses they refer to for relocations. Robert was polite, professional and followed through with quotes and information promptly. The movers showed up on time, they called ahead to let us know when they would arrive and were polite, efficient and professional. Pack and Load is a national company so I was amazed they had local, reliable people! Highly recommend E& J Relocation services out of Wilmington, NC. That's who they sent for our move. John and Ty were outstanding.

Do NOT use Pack and Load services under any circumstances! They have 86 complaints with the Better Business Bureau and tons right here. I give them a ZERO star rating!!!!! This company specializes in hiring incompetent crews that have zero competency in either proper packing or loading techniques. The sales rep did a fantastic job of selling their services but when the two-person crew showed up it was immediately apparent they were unprepared and oblivious. Unbeknownst to us, they had NO packing paper! So, when they packed our belongings, you guessed it, they were thrown in a box completely unprotected

These guys are cheats. They cheat their customer and the people who work for them. They damaged literally every piece of furniture they touched. I called when it was happening and they told me that they were insured-don't worry about it they would make it right. I put in a claim for $5000 and received a check for $187. Cost close $5k for their services. Heard that that they just pay their workers $200 for the full day. Don't use these people. Cheats.

Stay away from this company -- they do an awful job. If I could give zero stars I would. The loaders were lazy, incompetent, and just couldn't even be bothered to properly pack.
We had many items damaged just due to sheer negligence (they didn't even use moving blankets on several of the furniture items!)
My whole family ended up hauling boxes and furniture to the truck; I dare say we hauled more to the truck than the movers did! Even worse, they did such an awful job loading that we had to leave several items behind.

BEWARE! They loaded two PODS and when the arrived at my new residence, you could hear the furniture banging around. It was so loud two neighbors came out to see what the noise was. Almost every piece of furniture I own is damaged. I told Pack and Load I had very valuable furniture, and heirlooms that were not replaceable. Teen aged children could have packed these PODS better. I filed a claim the the company responded by saying they owe nothing. Don't use this company!

Do not use them under any circumstances. Their claims manager, Mike is smug and uncaring. They did not place the furniture as per contract where I wanted it because " well it will have to be moved to fix the damage we did." I called to see about having it moved for the floor repair that the claims amount will not fully cover. I called on Sept. 28 and spoke with Christine who as of today, Oct. 20 has not gotten back to me about having someone at the very least move it out the way for repair since it was never put where I requested it in the first place. DANGER, DANGER, STAY CLEAR!!!!

Be aware of using this service before reading the reviews that are posted by the company's previous customers so that you would know what you are getting into. Do not believe the bait that the company puts out there, everything they says is a lie, and I guarantee that they would not keep their promises realized!!!

They did send packers and they knew how to do their work. However they showed up late and quit before the work was done. Apparently they are used to small moves. Every time I called they asked if I had one Pod to load, even though I had told them I had 4 when made the reservation. They gave me a window to show up to load anytime between 8 and 11. Fortunately they came at 9:00 on the first day. When I needed them a second day, they first told me they could, then they said they had been pulled to a more important job and would not show up until noon. This company deserves a rating on a negative scale; however the lowest option here is 1 star. The packers were unprofessional and unqualified. No COVID protocols. They basically destroyed the walls and hardwood floors of our new home. To make matters worse, Multiple new items valued at over $4,000 were broken beyond repair and they only offered $175. Do not use this company! If you do use them, you will regret it! POD should also remove them from there recommended list-it devalues the brand.

Pack & Load movers packed so badly that they shredded the solid wood top of our desk!! It was not packed correctly. It was in many pieces when I gave it to a special repair man. I wish I had used my friends who would have done a good and better job-and saved myself $500!
They did not cover furniture as they were supposed to. Heavy items were on top of lighter items.
I do NOT recommend this company! And know you will only get $25 per damaged/shredded item. Their letter does not even offer an apology for your loss-just a statement that protects them from anything.

I was moving across the country for the first time and using PODS for the first time. This was one of the few companies suggested in an email from PODS for packing and loading the container. Their website looked good and the person on the phone was helpful compared with the others. Booking the service went smoothly but unfortunately the packing and loading process ruined my moving experience.

So we just used these guys to help us with loading a POD. It was an OK experience.
First, you should know that Pack and Load uses subcontractors - which means it's really 50/50 if you get guys that are competent, honest, and professional. Like so many other reviewers - I really wish I had looked up the reviews on them before I hired them - but I figured they were listed as a PODs preferred vendor so they were decent. I'll never make that mistake again.
The Good points:
1. They arrived early as requested.
2. They (mostly) worked hard.
3. They got the job done.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are complete scam artists. All they do is hire a moving company which anyone can do their on their own. Had I known that, I would not have used them. The movers they hired for my move were horrible. The movers put a hole in my wall. It has been over a month and I still have not received reimbursement for what happened and they're giving me the runaround. Go figure. This company is horrible, save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Terrible Experience. Hired to fill a POD, moving/storing a 2BR apt. Hired 3 movers instead of 2 to be safe...I outworked all 3 of them combined. Over an hour late, no work ethic, communication, couldn't disassemble furniture, wrapping/padding looked like a toddler did it. Movers reeked of a mix of cologne and cannabis and spent more time complaining about being tired and hungover than they did their job. Complete disaster. Caused damage to my hardwood floor, staircase, and door frame. Customer Service Manager stands by her crew as "one of our best" - they will not be in business

Do not use this company, they also have horrible customer service and refused to follow up to calls and emails to resolve any issues.
They are a total such a scam using "BBB A+ accreditation" baloney... I've tried to report my issues to the BBB and it's almost impossible. I no longer trust BBB for companies and wish I found this yelp page sooner. Lesson learned.

Pack and Load was highly recommend to us by PODS, unfortunately, our experience was less than desirable with them.
We hired them to pack several rooms and load the rented POD. The guys showed up on time from what I remember, one was more
the senior, both courteous. I tipped them generously thinking everything was wrapped and packed carefully.
However, when it came to unpacking the POD at it's finally destination I can't tell you the countless family heirlooms that were damaged or completely broken. It's heartbreaking knowing that these pieces of furniture had been refinished
