Our In House machine shop is fully equipped to offer axle, spindle and hub repair, line boring repair, forklift mast and carriage repair, fork eye replacement, in addition to any customized repairs. Our services also include Hydraulic repair including hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic valves and pumps and PTO (Power Take Off).

Services
This device is our bread and butter. Having done thousands and thousands of jobs for the likes of (Briggs Equipment, Toyota lift of Houston, Hyster forklift, City of Houston, Lonestar forklift, The Heitman company, Darr equipment) we are known for the top notch work we provide here at IME. We are known for helping customers meet their specific needs and we do it in a safe and timely manner.
IME initially began as a machine shop, repairing and fabricating parts for multiple industries. Including, but not limited to the oilfield, restaurants, and trucking & forklift. In the first decade, we conducted the majority of the manual labor. In 1994, IME expanded and relocated to its current location.
Our hydraulic department is another one of our popular services we offer here at IME. We can rebuild most cylinders, valves, pto's, hyd pumps of most industrial equipment. With this service we offer free pickup and delivery within a 25 mile radius, of it fits in the bed of a pickup truck. If parts require a flatbed a fee will be added to the final price of the job.
Our truck shop services offers a general and specific job repairs. We strive on reliable and dependable work to get you back on the road in a timely fashion. We offer name brand parts ( Dayton, Kaiser, Spicer, Timken) just to name a few. Our suspension repair shop is one of main services we offer here at IME.

I visited this shop in early December, during a super hot day when my AC burned out. Being a girl from out of town, I usually have a hard time trusting mechanic shops, but I’ve passed by this shop multiple times on the way home from work and decided to give it a try out of interest. The two guys at the front, Dave and Bill I believe..(who by the way... were super cool brothers!) were super friendly. They told me that they usually work on larger vehicles, but fit me in that day and fixed my 2012 Chevy Colorado at a super convenient cost. It had a minor manufacturing issue, unusual to most Chevys
