Instructor, Kathi Truba, has been teaching stained glass classes for 25 years. She added fused glass classes to her schedule 20 years ago after Newy Fagan introduced her to warm glass. Lampwork Beads came next nearly 15 years ago. You might say she has an addition to all things glass. Glassic Arts offers a variety of art glass classes for all skill levels.
This class is all about cutting and breaking glass in straight lines, curves and circles. These are skills you need to build not only stained glass, but fused glass and some mosaics projects. This class is needed to complete the "Beginners Stained Glass Class" and the "Basic Fusing Classes". This class is offered on the first Monday of every month 1 to 3:30PM, Class Fee is $50.00 and includes materials.
Sometime accidents just happen, sometimes its just heat and time but stained glass panels and lamps are an investment that occasionally require repairs. We recently inherited some stained glass pieces and shipped them from California. Unfortunately they were damaged in shipping. I was surprised to find a place local near Deltona. When inquiring about the cost of repair, I saw they offered classes, so I decided to try it. I took the class and in doing so created my own stained glass piece. Although I haven't gone back to take the next phase, I plan to when the pandemic settles down. The owner was so helpful and patient, and accommodated me missing 2 classes in the middle due to a planned vacation. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting the

My daughter gave us a beautiful stain glass with a yellow flower and a blue butterfly. In moving the yellow flower and some smaller pieces of glass was broken. The yellow was very hard to find which i was told from the first day. She said she would try to find a match. I had just about given up when she called to say a match had been found. She was able to restore to its original beauty. The workmanship is wonderful. I would recommend Glassic Arts to anyone looking for stain glass repair.

Mr. Iradj is a master when it comes to art, fine furniture and paintings. He has a small quaint shop on Robertson Blvd. I have lived in the area 10 years and sadly I just found him a month ago. If you need some art or frames or paintings or vintage and antique furniture repaired you will need Mr. Iradj!! He is the BEST!
