One of the keys to having a healthy and lush lawn is to aerate it. Sometimes what you may think is insect, under watering or fertilizing problems are actually happening simply because your soil needs some attention. There is a reason golf courses always include 2-3 aerations in their Lawn Care programs each year.
Overseeding at the time of Aeration is an excellent way to re-establish damaged and/or deteriorated turf areas. Aeration helps to correct all of these lawn problems and overseeding introduces new, healthy, vigorous turf to the lawn. Aeration removes thousands of small cores of soil 1" to 3" in length from your lawn.
Over the last few years, we have seen a large increase of turf feeding insect damage. While Minneapolis and Richfield seem to have got hit the hardest, we've seen them throughout Bloomington and the entire metro area. Some of this outbreak can be attributed to the increase of Japanese Beetles along with environmental conditions favorable to grub and insect production.

I am very happy that I chose Fertilawn for my lawn care company. Great customer service and a good value for your money. Johnny has done an excellent job this summer and my lawn looks amazing. It is very green, the grass is thick & lush, with little or no weeds. I LOVE the lawn report that is emailed after each visit letting you know what Johnny did during his visit and he rates how your lawn is doing. Very helpful!!!

We have used Fertilawn for 11 years. They do our organic fertilizing, spot weeding, and organic aeration/soil building. Our lawn is old--like 50+ years old and yet it is the nicest in our neighborhood, always a lush green. Organic is important to us and we also like that Fertilawn always makes sure that the tiny organic fertilizer pellets get blown from our sidewalks and driveway back onto the lawn when they are finished with an application.
