Services
Students will receive one on one private piano lessons each week with the same teacher. Lessons will focus on playing the piano, technique, ear-training, sight-reading, and music appreciation. Parental involvement with practicing is required. Welcome to WunderKeys Piano For Preschoolers - a unique program for preschoolers ages 2 to 4 and even younger ones!

At Anahid Syourapian Piano Studio, students are inspired to love music and are encouraged to pursue excellence in every area of their piano studies. The individual needs and interests of each student are carefully considered, and lessons are adapted to each individual's strengths and weaknesses, and music is chosen accordingly.
With two albums of her own, "Composer's Ventures" and "Believer", and extensive experience working with Russian and American music industry professionals as a singer, keyboard player and arranger, she has a lot to offer to her students. Tamara has been teaching for few years, both in music establishments like Brooklyn Center for the Arts and private classes.
Here are a few suggestions that will help you or your children to better make use of their practice time. Only practice a portion at a time - Have you heard of the saying: "How do you eat an elephant?" 2. Analyze the piece - You may analyze the piece by observing any repeating segments. Very often a music piece has repeating segments.

I had lessons with Anahid for about a year. I used to play as a child and teenager and then picked it up again as an adult years later. Anahid made sure to re-establish a solid technical foundation. She helped me extend and develop my playing on technical as well as other musical levels. She put a great focus on interpretation and artistic expression. She also has perfect pitch, which helps detecting even the slightest wrong notes ;)
I also met other teachers in her studio, everyone was very friendly, I played at the summer recital which was a fantastic experience. I would recommend her to anyone

Anahid is an excellent piano instructors. Probably one of the best piano teachers I have taken. I have played piano for 10 and everyday coming to Anahid 's class, I still am learning new variations and techniques which enable me to move forward. She is comfortable working with students at any level and is fun to spend time with. I highly suggest Anahid to any student who interested in learning or sharpening their piano skills.

I have been taking piano lessons from Anahid since Oct 2018. I came to her with a clear goal of getting admission into university piano performance program, and Anahid has been a great help since the very first lesson. She is very experienced in RCM programs and was guiding me through the audition requirements and helped me selected the audition repertoires. I feel very lucky that I found her to be my teacher. Every lesson was a fruitful session with a great deal of fun.

Anahid is an excellent instructor and is very talented. I am a beginner adult and started taking lessons with her this past year. I have very little musical knowledge/experience, but I always had an interest since childhood. Her methods of teaching are very effective. She not only teaches the content but also is attentive and provides key feedback in terms of technique. I walk away from each class learning something new. Also being a beginner adult, I truly appreciate her patience and kind personality. She also takes the time to get to know her students, which is very nice. I am excited to continue

I have been taking lessons with Anahid for about half a year. I am an adult learner who had some basic experience when I started with her and in a relatively short period of time I feel much more confident in my playing. She has helped me to refine my practice technique and understand how to play the music expressed by the notes, rather than just the notes themselves.

Anahid has been teaching our son, Matthew, piano for the past several years. She is a wonderful teacher and has been "instrumental" in inspiring a love of music and piano in our son. Anahid has that rare quality of pushing children to try their best to fulfill their potential, yet doing so in a way that doesn't overwhelm them or cause them to be discouraged. My seven year old daughter has been working with Anahid for the past 3+ years. To say that Anahid is amazing, wouldn't come close. My daughter was deaf until the age of four. However, she let us clearly know that she wanted to play the piano. Unfortunately, no other teacher would even consider taking a four year old deaf girl.
