I had a very unpleasant experience at H&M recently. Upon picking up some frames and looking over what had been done with the owner, I pointed out some discrepancies between what was agreed upon and what had been done. Rather than talking it over in a civil way, the owner grew extremely agitated, started unpacking what had been framed, and insisted on returning the contents in a forceful manner. He actually started hollering at me in the store, with his face getting all red. So, yeah, not going back to that framer any time soon...

Went in only for an estimate and was so impressed by the service and pricing, I immediately left my print. Got it back the next day! Beautifully done and Mohammad’s recommendations were perfect for my 44” size print. Great family business will definitely be bringing them my next piece to frame.

I thought I would support a local business as opposed to going to Michaels to get my signed print framed. They quoted me about $430 for framing with anti-glare glass. I paid half up front and it was ready the next day. When I picked it up there was no anti-glare glass. So they kept it and said they would fix the mistake. At that point I said you know what, since you're redoing it I'll take museum glass instead. They said the price would increase to about $480, I said fine. Their father (owner of the business) then accidentally texted me in a conversation with his son saying to "upsell

Got my first custom frame here for a map in 2015. The frame still looks beautiful to this day and is obvious it was handled by experts in the craft. The staff are knowledgeable and help you make the right choices in personalizing your frame. I am a return customer for custom frames which I intend to value and keep for a long time to come as the quality of work is superb and absolutely worth every penny, no doubt about it.

This is art gallery/store has exquisite pieces reasonably priced. The owner is professional and a man of integrity. Jobs are completed on time and done superbly with excellence. Finished projects are superior and second to none! I will definitely return and spread the good word that I would recommend without reservation or hesitation H & M Art and Home Decorations.

Probably the cheapest place in town, I would've given it more stars but my experience was frustrating and I felt very pressured by the owner. I called prior to coming in and asked the owner if he just had frames because I couldn't afford professional framing. He said his prices were the best prices and he had a quick turn around, but that he also had some extra frames laying around. I made the trek down to check the place out, and when I got there he was nice enough. Measured my art piece, then gave me a price of $180. I told him I really couldn't afford it, but he kept pressuring

Amazing quality for the lowest price I have been able to locate anywhere in the country. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Beside selling art, they make frames and sell furniture for great prices from the catalog.
They have their own workshop in their 3000 Sq Ft basement where they make the frames. They use state of the art equipment. Their computerized mat cutting machine enables them to cut any shape mat you may need.
They do wholesale and retail both in art and framing.
I personally witnessed them receiving one truckload of Michelangelo picture frame mouldings to be custom cut and joined

Mahmoud, the owner, is a professional! And friendly and fun at the same time. He made very good artistic design suggestions to our framing ideas, and was spot on with the frame and mat picks. We ended up raising the painting to create a shadow and giving a floating impression. Very high quality framing and well worth it for a Damien Hirst original. Highly recommend

My daughter recently visited Amsterdam and brought back a very cool ceramic tile from the 18th century. I liked the reviews for H&M Art and took the tile to be framed. Mohammed is just the nicest man and very knowledgeable about framing. In a matter of a few minutes he chose the perfect mats and frame for my tile, gave me a discount on the price, and it was ready and gorgeous the next day!
I will absolutely take any future framing jobs to H&M!

Framing matting minor repairs and even new art they do it all! Prices are the best around the tristate area! It also is conveniently located by three train stations and bus stops.
I would not go anywhere else for any of my art or home decor needs even if it is far away.

I've been going to this place for years and they are excellent with the community. They have great prints, paintings, and whatever you can think of but I mostly used them for their framing services. I've had tens of frames done here since the early 90's. I've chosen all kinds of frames from wooden to metals and have been a happy customer each time without fail.

These guys are amazing. Brought in 7 prints. Three days later everything was matted/framed and ready to go.

The best part is that Mohammed calls you and leaves the most incredibly thorough message about when / where and how you can pick up your artwork. It's delightful.

He also gave me a substantial discount because I framed a number of items.

I really like this place, but they need to be more transparent in their pricing. After making my selections, I have to hope that they hit the right buttons on the calculator. Once I took a picture to be matted, and another time I took two. They charged $20 both times. When I tried to use a coupon, they said that they had already given me 20 percent off, so that was a better deal. (I was like, 20 percent off what? You just wrote down a number!) They do a beautiful job with matting and framing, but I always wonder whether I'm paying a fair price.

I needed to get some glass put in a frame, so I called around to a few places on pricing. The prices ranged a bit, with some higher and some lower than H&M's price. H&M is the most conveniently located to me, so I walked over to get my frame. The price I was quoted was $50-60 per item, based on UV protected glass of a specific size.

When I got there and they looked at the piece, the following transpired.
Me: So, how much is it going to be?
H&M Owner: That will be $400 per piece.
Me: What are you talking about!? I

The gentlemen that work here have always been great at helping me to pick out nice frame designs for all of my unframed art. I had some prints by Aaron Potts that were gorgeous by themselves but really came to life after the TLC received at H&M.

Its important to me to introduce my kids to the whole wide world, including but not limited to culture, art and our community. The two men dont seem to mind their presence and are actually tickled by my children pulling my hand in different directions from painting to painting saying "I love THIS ONE, mommy!"
