I am fine art, documentary wedding photographer with a style that's more on the nontraditional side. My images are moody, and raw, and filled with emotion. I like to mix real life moments with a few naturally posed, timeless portraits, so at the end of the day you have a collection of memories that you can treasure forever.

I embrace darkness as well as light, blur, grain, and anything that helps me tell your story in an authentic way. The thing I am most passionate about, are real people, and real moments. The best things find you in the 'in-between'. My images will always reflect the truth of your day, shot in a a timeless, artistic way.
Services
I'm fond of barefeet in the grass and late night movies; belgian style beers, and my husband's hair and infectious laugh; a foggy morning, some good ole soul music, family style diners, deep conversations, and the hope of where a new journey may take me. Most days when I'm not shooting or editing, you will find me hanging out with my one, Ryan and our two littles.
As an artistic destination wedding photographer, I am constantly inspired by new landscapes, culture, art, food, fashion, architecture, and interior design. Traveling for a wedding allows really encompasses all my passions in one. Above all else, I value the connection between family and friends during this unique journey and I believe that event weekends should be captured in their entirety.
I am an artistic, creative, documentary photographer. I find beauty in natural light, deep colors, darkness, uninhibited love, nature, personal style, craftsmanship, authenticity, adventure, and truthful storytelling. I want to see raw emotion and real life in your images. My couples seek something different because they are different.
I had the pleasure of reuniting with one of my previous couples to create a fashion forward portrait editorial for them. We both share a love for the historic architecture in Atlanta, and for that reason we chose to shoot at The Candler Hotel in Atlanta. The high end finishes and the hotels restored marble staircases, made The Candler.

Run - don't walk and book Michelle for your wedding/event (if she is available!!)
We have no words with how pleased we are with how she captured our day. We've only received a preview set, but are already overwhelmed with joy over them.
My husband and I were on the search for someone who captured emotion over posed shots, as well as someone with a keen eye to detail. We were hooked from her black & white skills, and were not disappointed one bit.
My only wish is that I could re-live my wedding day again because it goes so fast and I forgot everything, but now I don't have to because she captured

We are so glad to have chosen Michelle to document both of the events for our wedding. She shot us at Callanwolde Fine Arts Centre for an Indian Sangeet & Rehearsal Dinner and then once again for our wedding at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. She captured the moments in set pieces and candid shots so beautifully. Very professional and we are grateful for her talents.

I am a wedding planner and designer and have worked with hundred's of photographers, hands down Michelle is truly one of the best! Her emotive, editorial styling constantly blows me away with each and every gallery she delivers after an event or project. She has such a unique eye and perspective. I admire her and refer her again and again not just because of her artistic ability but because of her genuine soul and calm demeanor. She has an overall cool vibe and aesthetic that really shines through in her work. Don't even think twice about it, just hire her!

Michelle is an incredibly talented photographer and cares so much about her clients. She made my fiancé feel super comfortable and was more than willing to follow our vision throughout the engagement photo process. We can't wait to have her for our wedding too and are already so happy with the results of our first shoot. I would recommend her 10x over!

Having Michelle take our wedding portraits was the best decision I could've possibly made! She captured our story in a way that is timeless, elegant and artistic. I could not be happier with how beautiful all of the photos turned out!! She's a true artist.
There is no one better to entrust with documenting one of the most important days of your life! She 's a stand up gal and will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Michelle works with you vs directing you to fit her style.
I am grateful to have worked with Michelle!

Michelle was amazing from start to finish. She was very responsive and worked with me to find the perfect locations for an editorial-style engagement shoot. Looking at her portfolio I had no doubt her keen eye was just what I was looking for. Not only is she talented, she is professional and personable. My fiancé and I weren't super comfortable in front of the camera but she brought out the best in both of us and it shows in our photos. She delivered our edited photos on time. Everything step of the process was seamless and I can't wait to hire her again for our wedding!

I don't even know where to start, but we just got our wedding photos back today & telling everyone about how phenomenal Michelle's work is seemed like the next logical step. I knew the moment I got engaged that photography was a high priority because at the end of the day, it's what you're left with. I'm an Atlanta wedding planner with years of experience + many vendor contacts & Michelle was who we wanted from the beginning. Our ceremony was small, intimate & in a private residence while our reception was a bit bigger & at a huge tourist location. Michelle handled both scenarios perfectly, & when

Our wedding photographer was "my thing", the wedding detail I was the most invested in because it would help us relive our day with our families now and in the future. I wanted a photographer who would capture the emotions of not just the bride and the groom but of the bridal party, extended family, and our guests. I struggled to find the right photographer who's portfolio wasn't a long list of static, posed images. That is, until we were recommended Michelle. O.M.G. I was instantly captured by her website and the wide range of weddings, locations, and styles she had covered. I am not an outwardly

We found Michelle based on a recommendation from Reddit and we could NOT be happier we took their advice to contact her. She is so talented and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does, which shows in her work. We booked her for an engagement photo session and were so thrilled with every single image she produced that we asked her to come with us to shoot on our elopement and the party back home afterwards. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease that we didn't even have to worry about 'acting natural'. Everything that she captured was so unique and different and exactly what we were

Michelle was a dream to work with. We chose her for both engagement and wedding day photography after our long, drawn out selection process—my husband and I are both designers so we are really particular about aesthetic. Michelle is incredibly easy to work with and she has such a wonderful, laid-back and positive energy about her. She is not only an incredible professional—she also clearly loves what she does and very much gets into her work but also does it in a non invasive way and makes you feel very comfortable with her. She knows how to direct without making you too posed but also captures
