Griffith Home Analysis

Andrew Griffith performed the inspection. He was just a few minutes late to the house, but it was Saturday and we weren't in any great hurry. He was extremely thorough inside and out, and explained everything he was reviewing. He answered all of our questions, pointed out what would need to be contracted and what we could do ourselves. We even got a big binder as part of the inspection, detailing basic homeowner DIY repairs and regular maintenance. The inspection report was emailed to us around noon on Monday. Overall a very good experience.

I've had several homes inspected for me by Griffin Home Analysis and they've all been very detailed and excellent analysis'. I will use them again for certain.

They saved me on two home inspections; they found major leakage in one house which I am so thankful to have known about. They are the best! Will continue to use them and give their info to my friends.

Andrew provided a detailed 60 page analysis of my prospective dream house. I quickly learned it was beautiful on the outside but had issues upon issues on the inside. We got a good counter offer from the sellers with the information we gleaned but there were still too many issues for us to seal the deal. He will make you want to not buy the house you want but it's the hard truth you need to hear. Very thorough and an expert at what he does.

I have been using this company for 26 years! You can't get a better inspector in town.if you are buying a house you need to know what your facing in repairs. You can find a cheaper person but you get what you pay for - and that can equate to an unlimited amount of money in repairs if you use a cheaper person! Like I said these guys are super thorough!and really spend a tremendous amount of time carefully accessing your next biggest investment YOUR SOON TO BE HOME! ( I was not paid and am not related, just trust this company!)

Edward has inspected both of our homes and numerous houses between the purchases. The professional and thorough inspection made us confident in our purchases and pictures and evidence when we needed to ask for repairs. Our first home has a cracked heat exchanger which was (or could be soon) leaking carbon monoxide into our living space. An HVAC tech disagreed and Edward agreed to show the "professional" the crack.

After the lesson the HVAC tech sided with Griffith and recommended a new unit. This is the kind of inspection you want for your home! I will continue to use and recommend Griffith Home Analysis.

Andrew performed the home inspection on the 100-year old home we were purchasing. After 22 real estate transactions, I can say this was one of the most thorough and knowledgeable I've seen. The inspection report not only gave us a better point of negotiation, but it also contained helpful information on the right way to remediate and repair damage. Highly recommended.

I emailed a request for an inspection early in the week. I received a response within an hour that Edward would be available that Saturday morning and was given an estimate. I confirmed the appointment. I arrived at the house about 15 minutes early, and Edward was already there inspecting the outside of the home. I appreciate not only the fact that he was early but also that he took the initiative to began work instead of sitting in his truck.

He also quickly assured me that I could follow him around and ask questions. He was very through and did not take a and quot;quick lookand quot; at everything like other inspectors I have had in the past. As a matter of fact, we too several trips around the house making sure that nothing was overlooked. Edward was very conscious of explaining what he was looking for and why.

When he did find an area of concern, he explained what he found, why it was or could be a problem, and how to fix it. It was clear Edward was very knowledgeable about all aspects of maintaining a house. Overall the inspection took approximately 3 hours from start to finish, though it may have been all the questions I asked. After the inspection was completed, Edward took the time to go over everything we had discussed, including what he felt was the most immediate problems.

He had a very detailed report emailed to me within 24 hours. Overall, the experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend Griffith to everyone. Hopefully this will be the only time I need their services; however, if not, I will definitely call them again.

It was easy to schedule an inspection by calling their office number. When the day came, Mr. Griffith was patient and answered all of my questions in the course of the inspection. After the inspection his office sent me the written reports, one each for the house inspection and one for the drywall results. I plan to use him again. I only wish he'd offer a discount.
