Texturious Designs

We hired Texturious Designs to consult on planning our kitchen remodel. Jen replied to our request very quickly, was on time to our consultation, and answered all our questions. Jen had awesome ideas and the final report was incredibly insightful and helped illustrate her suggestions. We will definitely be hiring Texturious Designs for all our home design needs.

We were connected to Jen by our remodeling contractor in preparation for a first floor remodel of our 1970s-built home. Having gone through the remodeling process twice before, we knew what to expect but also had mixed experiences working with other interior designers. From our first meeting (done virtually) and throughout the project, Jen showed us you can have a positive experience during a remodel if you're working with the right team.

What stood out about Jen, compared to other designers, is you could tell she truly wanted us to be happy in our space. She listened intently, asked great questions and was motivated by helping us achieve our goals instead of chasing the latest trend or steering us towards products that would get her a commission. Remodeling an entire first floor is not an easy task.

We had a few awkward spaces - and several must-haves - that she was able to accommodate into a cohesive design and was collaborative and honest throughout the process. She was a consistent presence throughout the remodel as well, helping to answer questions of the crew and brainstorming with us if something wasn't able to be executed exactly to plan.

Regardless of it being at the start of the project or near the end, we always felt like a priority for Jen. She took feedback well and also pushed back when we were going in a direction that contradicted our previously stated goals. All told, it was a wonderful partnership - and our home is exactly what we dreamed it would be. Not only does she do quality work, but she's incredibly kind and welcoming and helped make what can be a stressful process so much easier. Without question, we would hire Jen again and would highly recommend her to all our friends and family.

We are completing our home and Jen has been amazing to work with! She has the unique ability to grasp our vision and then discern our tastes and personalities and then apply her incredible eye to come up with ideas to make our house a home that we will enjoy for many years. This is our last new home but if the occasion ever arose, we would DEFINITELY hire Texturious Designs again!

Texturious Designs was easy to work with and was able to help my family come up with a plan to do a simple renovation on our main floor. Jen was able to come to our house, measure our space, and improve upon our novice ideas. She was patient with our explanations, and was quick to come up with solutions to problems with our flow and furniture issues.

Within 5 days of our visit with Jen we had a write up of our plans, vision boards, contractor recommendations and a place to start! We are excited to move forward with updating our main floor as Jen worked within our budget, style, and space limitations to create a unique design we think is going to look great. I would highly recommend using Texturious Designs to my friends looking for some guidance on house updates and design.

It was awesome working with Jen. She listened carefully and attentively and then came up with solutions to my decorating problems. I had things narrowed down, but she helped me find just the right tile, rug, and small accessories. It was like having a good friend come over and help decorate, except this friend has great taste.
