Great staff. Fun environment. Great location. Clean and professional experience with all the Southern Salon Charm you would expect. First haircut since lockdown and Skye strategized, then cut and styled my new look almost intuitively while walking this previous "crew-cutter" through the care and future maintenance of my now longer locks. Highly recommended and her experience shows with the final "soap opera hair" outcome (that's a good thing).

First visit, so I'll have to add more after I've spent a little more time here, but I was really happy with the service I got here! The business owner messaged me back after I sent a request fairly late on a Friday evening, and I was able to get a next-day appt after a last minute cancellation. Skye did a fantastic job, and the vibe of the salon was so friendly and comfortable! I'll definitely be back!

Tricia is AMAZING. I went to Salon Povera after getting a horrible haircut somewhere else. Tricia was able to work with it and give me the cutest haircut ever. I have curly hair, so sometimes it's difficult to find someone who knows their way around curls, but Tricia knew what she was doing and guided me through what products she used and gave me some styling ideas. This is definitely my new salon, I'll recommend it to everyone!

This was my first time going to this salon. I had a great experience they were very friendly and nice. They have just opened up from the band due to the covid 19 virus. They were very cautious and took your temperature and sanitized your hands before they let you in. They also ask you health questions as well. But I had my hair done by Sky, and she did an incredible awesome job! I just found my new hairdresser!

I would highly recommend Tricia Howard. I have been going to her for almost a year now and she is wonderful. She has great customer service, professional and strives to understand what look you are trying to obtain. She takes care of all my hair needs. She also colors my hair, highlights and retouches my roots. And I get compliments everyday when I go out. She just did my latest color last week. And that very day I had three compliments. I got in with Patrick yesterday, I love him. He's so sweet and personable and the man can do some hair! I went and got my hair blonde this summer in Florida and my grays work crazy growing out! He worked his magic, matching the same shade and telling me how to maintain it and when to come back. Everyone in the salon is super friendly and there's such a nice vibe. He's got my loyalty back!

Gemina Hayes is a wonderful stylist. She is very knowledgeable about all hair types. I'm mixed so my hair has a lot of different textures and Gemina knows what products are best for my hair type. She uses products accordingly which I feel is very critical in getting the outcome that you desire. I had color for a while and she was very good at matching the same color each time I came in as well as maintaining the upkeeping of my hair. Everytime that I have visited her she has done wonders for my hair and the compliments pour in! Salon Provera has wonderful staff and they are all friendly so stop on in! Ask for Gemina!

What a wonderful find! Look how consistent and high the reviews are for Salon Povera! Yes, always a negative mugwort or two but wow this is a great place with excellent stylists! I chose PATRICK to recut my hair, but I feel strongly that the other stylists would have been great choices due to the other reviews. I loved that Patrick understood my finer hair and could see immediately where the last cut went wrong. As a hairdresser from a zillion years ago I could feel and see

Patrick and his team are AMAZING! After having had some horrible haircuts by other salons (one that left me with a mullet), I can't say enough about the consistency of Patrick's work. For over a year, he has made each salon experience a great one and I leave loving my hair every time. He even works with my level of ability with my hair, which is limited. I went to Salon povera because my sister recently got her hair colored there and she loved it! All I have to say is that this is the first time I go to a salon and leave loving my new hairstyle. I've been with Patrick for years. He's hands down my favorite colorist. He's so knowledgeable about his work and clearly understands all the complex chemistry behind his products. Plus, he's an artist. I love coming into the salon and just giving him the freedom to make my hair look fabulous. (And he does - I constantly get compliments on my hair color!)

The BEST! Patrick Hawker has a PhD in color. My naturally red hair had long gone mousy and gray and Patrick brought me back to life! Red is hard to get right, and I've tried many salons searching for a natural looking solution and didn't get one until I found Patrick. So glad he's opened this gorgeous new space.
