At York Foot Orthotics and Bracing, our goal has always been to go the extra mile and provide the best possible orthopedic care in Collingwood, Ontario. Our founder, Dean Woodcock, is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist and registered technical Orthotist with nearly two decades of experience. We specialize in helping those who have issues related to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, partial foot amputations, diabetes, and other common foot ailments. We also offer adolescent services with special pricing. We know everyone's body is unique, so our orthotic devices are hand-crafted in our lab to ensure each patient gets the fit they need. We can fit patients with knee, ankle, and foot braces, as well as custom orthotics. We also offer aircasts and compression hose. Custom foot orthotics fit inside your shoes and can correct alignment or balance issues, keeping your foot properly aligned when you’re standing, walking, or running. We’re conveniently located to help those in the Newmarket, Ontario area and can create your custom foot orthotics in-house so you can start using them sooner. 
At York Foot Orthotics, we can evaluate the cause of your foot pain. If it is something that custom foot orthotics or orthopedic braces can help, we’ll get you on the path to reducing or eliminating your foot pain. 
Orthotics can be helpful for a number of conditions, including weak ankles, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, forefoot varus, Morton’s Syndrome, Hallux Valgus bunions, and other ailments that cause foot pain in the heal, arch, or toes. If you have tried off-the-shelf orthotics and experienced little to no relief, we recommend scheduling an appointment with us. 
At York Foot Orthotics and Bracing, we handcraft orthotics in our in-house lab, but we also offer custom knee braces where we create the cast and send it to a lab for fabrication. Custom knee braces are orthopedic braces used to alleviate knee pain. 
Both type-one and type-two diabetes have been linked to neuropathy and foot pain, which can make it difficult to walk normally or participate in your favorite physical activities. Many people mistakenly believe that nothing can be done to alleviate the effects of diabetic feet, but at York Foot Orthotics and Bracing, we disagree. Our team of healthcare professionals will assess your feet and determine what treatment options are available to you.

Just a wee shout out to Dean for the sweet relief I have found in the orthotics he made for me. I can not say enough about these orthotics. They have definitely changed my quality of life. I called the office desperate for help before I left on a two week trip. Dean fit me in and I had orthotics in hand in just over a week!

Dean provides amazing service! I originally went to him last year for 2 orthotics. He assessed my issues and produced superb orthotics. His follow up is unparalleled. Dean truly believes in complete customer satisfaction. I went back this year for various aids.lifts in high heels, easing pressure on the side of my foot etc. Dean's solutions have worked and he's a pleasure to deal with.

Dean is professional and very knowledgeable in his field. His product is excellent quality and he is very skilled in what he does. After a year plus of painful feet, legs and knees, he the took time to assess the issue. He then worked closely with me to ensure I had the right orthotics. Such a relief to be pain free!

I went to Dean for orthotics after t a friend recommended his service to me. When I met Dean I learned in my first visit that he was very qualified to dispense not only Orthotics but Braces as well. He uses a foam casting technique to customize the body of the orthotic to your foot that he then adjusts to meet your requirements; in my case, high arches and hammer toes.
He is not satisfied until you are. I have used Dean's services a number of times for custom orthotics that I use in my Walking, Hiking (Yes, they are different) an Golf shoes. Dean also made customized orthotics for my Ski boots. I can walk farther pain free and my stance is much better when golfing. I spend a lot of time on my feet at the ski hill during events and my feet are pain free and do not get cold anymore. Dean does a lot of custom orthotics and braces for the skier community and I would highly recommend his orthotics for your boots. Bottom line, good customized orthotics are hard to find. Dean delivers.

I was experiencing knee and foot pain at the time I booked an appointment with Dean Woodcock. After a very thorough and concise assessment, Dean explained that custom orthotics would correct my foot and knee mechanics. In less than a week, Dean built my custom orthotics, re-evaluated my condition and made the final adjustments to my new orthotics.
The orthotics have completely eliminated my foot pain and my knees feel perfectly fine after full shifts as a firefighter. I would highly recommend Dean Woodcock - his professionalism, knowledge and construction of orthotics exceed what other allied health professionals offer. Because he measures and manufactures the orthotics in his own lab, he avoids "cookie cutter" solutions to your complex foot problems. I required orthotics for a foot issue and York Foot Orthotics & Bracing was recommended to me. From the moment I had my first appointment, I was very impressed with Dr. Woodcock and his services. The fact that he has his own workshop, on site, to make the orthotics was really a bonus. Sending orthotics out for impressions and corrections takes way too long.
This way, if I have any issues at all, Dr. Woodcock can correct them right on site. He gives such personal customer service, any time it is required. I would highly recommend Dr. Dean Woodcock. He has convenient offices located in Aurora and Collingwood. Excellent job!
