Kenneth R. Russell, D.D.S. – Dr. Russelll graduated from East Carolina University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In addition, he minored in Psychology. His post graduate work was completed in 1989 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He and his wife, Vicky are members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and have three children. Dr. Russell is also a member of American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and Academy of Laser Dentistry
Dr. Russell has been in private practice since 1989. Upon graduation, he began practicing in Burlington, NC and then he came back home to Winston-Salem in 1994. He taught at Alamance Community College in Dental Assisting from 1990-92. Great service, amazing staff, and an overall outstanding experience. I hadn't been to a dentist in years due to negative experiences I had at a previous office. But at this practice I was made to feel extremely welcome, and comfortable. The staff took time to explain everything they were doing, which was beyond any other pervious experience I've ever had at a dentist. They also were able to get me immediately scheduled for a follow up appointment within 1 day. Absolutely fabulous and will never go anywhere else.

I went for the first time in seven years today to a dentist and it was a great experience. Dr Kenneth Russell is very polite and was also gentle. Great bedside manner. The tech that did my x-rays was wonderful. I hate that I forget her name. Front desk was polite as well. I'm not nervous about what I need done and I'd highly recommended them.

I moved out of town (like 2 hours away) and I am choosing to continue to use Dr. R for my dental care. His staff is professional, his prices are reasonable. He explains everything that needs to be done and he is thorough but not aggressive (in other words looking for things to "repair" to pad his pockets). He is honest, caring and thorough!

I have never been happier with a dental practice in all my life, as I have been with Dr Russell and his staff. All these great reviews you see on here are absolutely true, as this is what I went by before choosing them when I moved here from Texas. Dr Kenneth Russel and his staff are nothing short of phenomenal! Vicky at the front desk is very personable, accommodating and has the type of attitude to brighten your day. All of the hygienists are extremely professional and do a great job making you comfortable during your visit and ensure that you are relaxed if you have any concerns. They ask great questions and make great conversation building excellent rapport with each patient. Dr Russell is extremely knowledgeable and honest.
He always gives the best recommendations and advice on your teeth. They really take good care of you here from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Superb facility! 5 Star. Highly recommend!

I am a big fan of this dentist office! Well as much of a fan as you can be seeing seeing how after all I don't know of anyone who is excited to go to the dentist. They never make you wait very long for your appointment and it is also pretty easy to get an appointment scheduled. The woman manning the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hygienists are very thorough and do this thing when you are a new patient where they measure all of your pockets and take literally 18 x-rays.
They were able to catch something with the chompers that no one else had and needed some attention paid to it. Also as a bonus they even have TVs at the end of the dental chair so you can watch tv if you have to wait at all when you are in the room and then you can listen to it while they work on your teeth.
