Your first visit is 45 minutes in length, and it will consist of a thorough history, a physical, and diagnosis of the chief complaint (reason for the visit). During the history, the doctor will be engaging you in a conversation that provides information and will help lead toward a diagnosis. The history will also include investigating past medical history and other possible health concerns.
