Dr. Spangler practices all forms of dentistry for the entire family, from preventative and comprehensive restorative care to teeth whitening and other cosmetic procedures. He is a very compassionate and gentle dentist, with patient comfort being extremely important to him. Dr. Spangler enjoys talking and getting to know his patients and their families, with his easygoing, likable personality helping to put patients at ease.
Dr. Spangler is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Forsyth County Dental Society. He served a term as President of the Forsyth County Dental Society in 2007. He is also a board member of the Community Care Center in Winston-Salem. In addition, Dr. Spangler regularly attends continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest advancements in dental techniques and materials.

Dr. Spangler and his entire team offer the very highest level of dental care. Professional, extremely competent, helpful and friendly. from the folks at the front desk, to the hygienists, and to Dr. Spangler himself. The billing department, through Angela, is especially helpful, and effective, in assisting with insurance claims. Count me as a long term and satisfied patient! --------- AND a 2021 follow-up based on Dr. Spangler and crew successfully coordinating a three-tooth dental implant process during this past year.
A long-term bridge failed, on my upper right jaw, which required a lengthy and fairly complicated process to remedy that gap. Dr. Spangler made a good referral to the oral surgeon and then oversaw the fabrication of all of the necessary interim bridges (kudos to Karen, especially!) and final crowns, overseeing the process until completion. At every step he and his staff made sure that I was comfortable, and at the end of the process, he made every necessary adjustment to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the result. Once again, 5 stars to Dr. Spangler, Karen, Brenda and Angela!

It had been more than five years since my last dentist trip before finding Dr. Spangler's office. He and his staff have been extremely friendly, courteous, and respectful. My visits have been very pleasant (even with fillings to fix two chipped teeth!) and they have definitely earned a new customer. Thanks!
