Crew was on time while doing quality work. If they hadn't rang the doorbell to let me know they were there to work I wouldn't have even known they were under the house installing insulation. Crew was respectful and tried not to be noisy. Service:Installation

In the area of HVAC and Energy businesses, we have seen first hand that not all companies are trustworthy and truly deliver on their promise of energy efficiency. This company was fantastic and made us feel instantly at ease. As many have noted, James was wonderful. He took us around our home and showed us the areas of concern, but what was great was that he was not trying to sell us on added services we didn't need.

Quite the opposite. Once we signed up to have our attic sealed and reinsulated, his crew was right on time, worked hard and was very respectful of our home. We immediately noticed that our air conditioner was suddenly not working as hard. Fair price, great workmanship and totally trustworthy. Go with these guys!

James Moore was wonderful to work with. He came out inspected the ducts. registers and connections. showing us where we were losing efficiency. He provided the options we asked for. and the installation crew was professional.thorough. and very neat and clean. They also installed R19 insulation on the drop ceiling tiles in the showroom. I would recommend James and Apple Blossom for any commercial building.

Recently had vapor barrier and insulation put in the crawl of our home. James came out quick and gave us an estimate. Price was good. They was able to get us worked in fairly quickly. Everything looks good so far. Inside the home it feels cooler and the AC does not appear to be working at hard. I am very pleased with the work done.

Had them to blow more insulation in the attic and they repaired/replaced insulation in the crawl space. They discovered a vent was unhooked and fixed the problem. Very happy with their pricing and service. I would highly recommend them for your insulation needs

AppleBlossom came out over the Summer and gave me an estimate for new insulation in my town home. These townhouses were built in 2005/2006, so I knew it had the "old" stuff! Not only was it the best rate around but Mr. Meeks (the owner) explained in detail what would be done and how it would help the energy efficiency of my home. AppleBlossom had a nice crew that came to the town house and completed the new insulation work in the attic space.

They worked hard (in the heat) and when they left, you couldn't even tell they were there. The crew was very professional and left the work area neat and clean. The job was to insulate my garage walls and above the garage ceiling. These areas of a new house are not required to be insulated at time of original construction. So I found out (through cold and heat) that it sure would have been nice to have had it done then. Oh Well! A prompt team showed up when they had scheduled.right on time.very courteous team members.they paid attention to detail including opening of the wall mounted power panel to seal any potential leak through spots. Very nice work including post job clean up, and priced reasonably.would recommend this company anytime, based on this experience.

Most reviews do not discuss the outcomes of energy efficiency months after the installation of the insulation. I have been watching closely over the last 10 months and I would admit there is a significant difference in our electric bill. Prior to the insulation, our 3000 sq ft home was consuming an average amount of electricity. Now we are ranked as one of the more efficient homes compared to comparable homes in the area. All due to James Moore adding additional cellulose to the attic. Thank you!

Very professional staff. My attic was insulated properly within a 1/2 day. Workers cleaned up after themselves and left my house like they were never there.looking to do business with apple blossom again.

I had bought Angie's deal for evaluation in 2013 and received a quote for the above work, but was unable to have it done at that time. Called James Moore again Jan 2015, he rechecked the house and gave a new quote, work was arranged for 2-13-15. He and 2 workers arrived promptly at 9am and worked until 4 pm. Cleaned up all areas they could. They could not work on all the popcorn stuff that had fallen off the ceiling, as they went completely throughout the attic.

Everything seems to be as expected, now waiting to check energy bills for improvements. Hard to tell what that will be, since we got a new furnace and AC Nov 2014. Definitely less air whistling in. Also, the Duke Energy rebate was received 3 weeks after work was done!

He was very thorough. Part of the Big Deal, according to the printout, was supposed to be an installation of insulation on the access covers to the attic. Scott didn't know anything about that and apologized for the confusion. I wasn't confused. Apparently, whoever made up this deal over--offered for the 49.00. So, it wasn't done, but on the proposal for the work to be done he included the access insulation at no charge.

I will call them to do the work when I'm ready. He seems to know what he's talking about and he sent the specs of the recommended insulation to my husband as requested. He came, he inspected, he told us what we should do; he followed up with a proposal for work to be done.

I spoke with two company representatives to 1. to acknowledge the purchase of the deal and 2. to schedule the inspection at my house. Once the day of the inspection came and went, I noticed shortly thereafter that my purchase was credited back to my card. I never was informed as to why the appointment was cancelled.

We recently bought a new house and noticed that it was difficult to cool the upstairs on hot and sunny days, so I had Apple Blossom come out to offer some solutions. The man arrived on time and was cordial and professional. He briefly examined the attic and made some recommendations. In the end, we did not go forward with his advice, because after a few weeks in the new house it became clear what the true problem was, and it was not the attic, but some knee walls in the bonus room above the garage.

This was not entirely his fault, because I did not ask him to examine that room, but at the same time he did not spend very much time on his investigation, especially since it was a paid energy audit service (not a free estimate). He was in and out in about 10 minutes tops, and so did not truly discover the root of the problem. That being said, they were a professional operation and I would probably turn to them again if/when I needed work done.

Home insulation is not something you typically think of as being very exciting. The prospect of talking to someone about insulation seemed to me as interesting as talking a trip to Home Depot, and trips to Home Depot freak me out enough to give me diarrhea. (Seriously. I've never been in that store without blowing up their bathroom. I'm bad at being a homeowner.) John Meeks, who runs Appleblossom Insulators, makes finding effective, environmentally friendly home insulation into a fascinating prospect. It's kind of amazing.

It would be worth getting a home insulation estimate from these guys just to see how excited he gets when he talks about this stuff. Not only do you feel like you are going to save money after you talk with him, but you'll feel like you're going to contribute to saving the world. All their work is guaranteed, which makes me feel good. I'm learning the hard way as a homeowner that I can't cut corners by getting some dork from Craigslist to come fix what's broken. I've got to fix stuff the right way the first time, or I end up paying more later. So if you are in the fascinating home insulation market, I think you'll invest your dollars wisely in Appleblossom.
