We are a private physician group practice, currently providing Physical Medicine, Chiropractic Care and Physical Therapy services. We have been established and caring for patients since 1998. We treat most ailments related to the injury of muscles, joints and nervous system including, the spine, hips, knees, shoulders, wrists and many others.
Did you know that chiropractic dates back to the time of Hippocrates? He believed that if the spine was misaligned, it greatly contributed to the health of an individual. The modern day school of chiropractic dates back to 1895, when Dr. Daniel Palmer adjusted a man that had lost his hearing 17 years prior.
Dr. Fano, our staff Chiropractic Physician, was born and raised in Newark, NJ. After attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, he returned to the Essex County area to begin his career. After a few years as an associate physician in Bloomfield, NJ, Dr. Fano began his own practice, establishing Union Medical, LLC in late 1998.
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe you've heard through a friend or have done research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the doctor and discussing your history, current condition, and goals.
We offer an array of treatment approaches for patients, which include and are not limited to chiropractic, physiotherapy, rehabilitative, pharmacological, and minimally invasive pain management treatment options. The patient is ALWAYS provided treatment options ranging from conservative to invasive, as they are always in control of their care (within medical reason) for which best fits them as an individual.

Dr. Fano is amazing and it’s safe to say that in my 37 years of living and the countless number of doctors I’ve been to, he has been, by far my favorite. He has gone above and beyond his job description in helping me through some personal health issues. His knowledge of the human body stems WAY farther than just chiropractic. He is very friendly, attentive, charismatic and knowledgeable. Not only did he treat me physically but mentally as well. He diagnoses and explained everything thoroughly. Also, helped and guided me to understand and treat why or how i was feeling something and how to change
