I recently had the pleasure of working with Zen Living for my basement cabinet and wet bar installation, and I have to say that they truly impressed me. I needed the project done quickly and they were able to deliver on their promise, which was a huge relief. Chad was a huge help in assisting us to choose the right countertops, and his patience and expertise were greatly appreciated.

Highly recommend Ron. We asked for a kitchen with two islands and it was not easy. He's very knowledgeable about what will work where, and what materials will work best. He kept us up to date on the progress of my kitchen and explained the process. We also installed a big pantry that runs along the wall of the islands and it turned out amazing. Five stars!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our experience was superb, from start to finish. We chose Zen Living for our home remodelling project, and we could not be happier with the results. Their team was professional, well educated on their product, and the result is stunning. There was seamless communication - every time we had a question, there was someone ready to help us.
We loved the flexibility they offered with their manufacturing selection. We chose to have our product made overseas, and was able to save quite a bit so we can focus on landscaping this year. The product itself is top notch and matches our aesthetic to a tee. Can't recommend them enough! Thank you!

Update: They have followed up and replaced the piece in the closet that had a eye sore of a seam. Thank you for recognizing the error and following up. We will still use them for cabinets in the future, the service department needs more staff/training as they cannot follow up with the existing jobs they have(exceptionally long follow up times) but our salesman Jon really went above and beyond so thank you to him!
Our salesman was excellent, and the quality of cabinets is good, this review is based mostly on the quartz install and follow up from the service department which has soured the whole experience with this company. We used them for 2 straightforward jobs in dining room and closet, to see if we would hire them for our kitchen. Recommend on the cabinet side, steer clear on the quartz install!
Extremely poor install job with unsightly seams, and the closet piece not cut correctly at there shop, which lead to them cutting into the drywall to making it fit and damaging closet doors along the way. We have emailed in 3 times and took the service team over a month to respond with there's nothing they can do. We knew there had to be a seam, however you'd be better off hiring someone off Kijiji, the seam is so poorly done, and quartz not cut correctly.
Also the follow up time of one month to respond is completely unacceptable. We tried to shop local as they are a Calgary company, better off for quartz install to go big box, at least you can get service work done and a response back!

When we moved to our new townhouse we were short of storage space for my bedding and towels, so we had Zen Living build us cabinets. They turned out beautiful, the color and hardware matched the rest of the ones we had. All the staff were excellent to work with. The gentleman that did the installing did an excellent job also. I am very pleased with the results of my kitchen renovation as done by Zen Living. My kitchen went from being worn out and outdated to a spectacular new modern design featuring self closing drawers and cupboards doors in a Shaker style in Ultra White with fabulous quartz countertop. I went with higher cabinets with a crown moulding surround so that I wouldn't have an open space at the top which unfortunately just collects grease and dust.
With any renovation there are challenges but Zen was there to assist and correct any issues in a timely fashion. Their install crew and follow-up inspection staff were very cordial and efficient in their roles. If you are in the market for a kitchen makeover contact Ly at Zen Living- Jim Kirkwood

Zen Living caused a kitchen renovation experience to be a pleasure! We ordered cabinets from Zen with the awesome help of Ron (very patient and helpful) and installed it ourselves. We are impressed with the quality, delivery, packaging, hardware.everything! We also bought quartz counter tops from Zen and had it installed by them - which went smoothly and professionally - a great job that looks beautiful.
The Zen staff members who work in the office (accounting, ordering, scheduling) was a joy to deal with.courteous, helpful & friendly. I have visited their facility and it is one of the most organized and structured cabinet companies I have ever seen. Their finishes can only be compared to furniture quality. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and craftsmanship you get and the selection/ choices are endless. Top Notch!

My new kitchen is amazing. I spent months going back and forth with the designer. Making certain every detail was just right. We revised the blue prints many time. My kitchen was installed last week and we are just starting to settle in to a new routine in a new space. It took some time but I feel a tremendous sense of achievement. Thanks to the entire Zen team.

Last year the Calgary Buddhist Temple did a complete renovation of its 100 year old building in Bridgeland. There were a lot of issues on site, including foundation walls that were not straight, delays in construction, and problems with the main contractor. Zen Living came in to do the cabinets in the two kitchen areas, in the upstairs classroom, and the bathrooms.
We cannot say enough good things about how great Zen was. They were so helpful from start to finish and did a fantastic job. All the cabinets look wonderful; it's so good to have so much well organized space. Zen dealt with the foundation wall problems; there is no indication that the kitchen wall is several inches different in depth! Zen also dealt very well with the problems caused by the general contractor and delays on site. We are now working with Zen to install some additional small cabinets to create a columbarium.

Their prices were very reasonable and the quality of the product was excellent. We are SO VERY HAPPY with our new kitchen and are so appreciative of all the time that Zen put into this project.
