My heater had gone out and at the most inconvenient of times. It has started to snow that day, cold, windy, and my call was I'm sure unexpected. However the team and technician were so very understanding and responsive to my concerns and issues and were very considerate by squeezing my family in at such a time. First time using them and what a gem of a company this is! They couldn't come the day I called for a leaking A/C, but scheduled me for early the next day. They happened to have a cancellation and put me in for the same day, Donavan was on time, efficient, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to secure some things that were never taken care of!

I finally upgraded to centralize air and heat! Right on time because the is Barstow heat is no joke! John and Jesse were very professional and knowledgeable. They walked me thru the entire process of my install and answered any questions I had. Gerson did an excellent job on my install. They installed an a/c unit and two weeks later a new hot water heater. The work was done with the utmost personal care they work like they are working on their own house. We took bids from three different local companies before settling with Total Comfort solutions. Total Comfort was the last bid. The representative of the first company (company 1) was very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to educate us on HVAC systems. He also gave us his best recommendations for the house. The representative was patient, kind and genuine. However, the price for the installation of the unit we thought most ideal for our application was really high.

The representative of the second company came and went without saying too much but his price was the lowest. However he did not elaborate or promised to do anything other than installing a unit (by that time I understood that installing a unit involved quite a bit more work) Then came John at Total Comfort Solutions. Just like the representative of the first company he was very thorough and professional in his explanations and what he was committed to do in terms of all the side work that comes with installing a HVAC unit.

His price for the installation of the most ideal unit (which, by the way, had almost all the same specifications as company 1's unit) came to about $4200 less than company 1's quote. The choice for us was obvious. John and his crew were careful not to make things messier than needed and he was also respectful of our privacy. On top of that, we got a box of free filters and carbon monoxide detectors all throughout the house. One week into the install and we are quite satisfied with our choice. I will do a long term review in a year or two.

Called John to ask about getting annual maintenance done on my unit and he was able to come by within the hour. He tested everything very thoroughly on the roof, every room with a vent, and even in the attic to make sure everything was working as intended. He cleaned the coils and replaced my air filter too. He also gave me a breakdown of all the services he provided to include before and after photos and the future service he will provide as part of my maintenance plan. Very glad John was recommended to me and I will be recommending him to others as well.
