This is a composite review for everyone who came out to deal with replacement of my old AC & Furnace plus the installation of my new tankless water heater & the electrical issue in the bathroom here. They were all helpful, friendly & arrived on time & did the work as quickly & efficiently as possible. Also answered any questions I had too. Good thing my availability right now is open as it was a lot of work to get done here.

They installed my heat pump for ductless AC and heat about 16 months ago. Had them out for general system maintenance. And they gave me a bid on attic installation which they did 5 days later. This review is about the insulation. On time.even early! Explained the procedure they would use since I have ceiling cassettes for my ductless heat pump system. They were in and out quickly. Friendly and made sure to clean up afterwards. I got to inspect attic before and after insulation.

Exceptional service-like the good old days. Nathan is courteous, thoroughly knowledgeable, and patient; he took the time to address my concerns and make sure I understood the condition of my heating unit. Many Thanks!

Walker and Julian were a great team: on time, good communicators, explained the process and answered my questions and were good about checking in with me for my input when needed and to get permission before taking steps during the process. Walker walked me through the process for how the system worked and thermostat control which was very helpful!

Eric was fantastic - personable, thorough, he didn't rush or seem in a hurry. He answered all my questions and made you feel there were no stupid questions. He even tried to get me a better deal if I combined work (and succeeded). He explained my systems in detail, which are new to me since I'm from Southern California. Highly recommend him and if the company is as good as he is then I'd recommend them too!

We had a couple of hiccups trying to get this scheduled, as I kept getting moved later on in the week due to some technicians being out sick. However, once I received the appointment and estimate from Tad, I was very impressed with Sunset Heating and Cooling. Bree in the office was also fantastic at talking care of me throughout the week. Finally Justin arrived and did the work quickly and professionally. My Dad inspected it and commented on what a nice job he did.

We had a few problems after the AC was installed. Sunset couldn't have handled it better. Never charged us, sent as many people as it took. And in the end, a really smart fella named Cody spent two days at our house creating a whole new pathway for the AC. Really, really impressed by their customer commitment. And be sure to ask for Cody.he's as good as it gets.

Exceptionally polite, friendly, and skilled. Evylynn and Izi restored our faith in Sunset HVAC by their hardwork and willingness to fix the problems and get it done right! We then signed up for annual maintenance and Taylor came out to do our AC maintenance. He also was personable, thorough, skilled, and let me follow him around explaining everything.

Sunset Heating & Cooling has some amazing employees working for them. Justin and Romero installed our new furnace and Heat Pump. You couldn't find two better people to do the work! Then, AJ did the electrical. Solid and professional with such care for the home owner. From Aubrie in the main office to the gang out in the field, SH&C has some truly solid people.

Our heat pump went out Tuesday. Sunset came right away and diagnosed that our 1999 heat pump was not fixable.obviously. They were able to replace the entire system on Friday in 4.5 hours. Jake Miller was our technician. He was so personable, professional and wow, what a hard worker! He did the entire removal & install by himself. This is our first time utilizing Sunset and would highly recommend this company. Eric, who was the initial tech that came out was great and thoroughly explained why it wasn't a fixer-upper, but a replacement need where we didn't feel like it was a "sale". My installers John and Kai were extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. The bid I received was detailed and competitive. I am very happy with my experience in replacing entire hvac system.

They use a third party call service that can be a little wonky. They gave me a timeframe from 2-4, but were too busy to show up. They guaranteed to show the next day, so I gave them a second chance. Super helpful and thorough when they arrived. The actual service was great, but was a little bummed when they didn't show up after confirming (granted it was 106 degrees and the whole city had issues).

Ryan and Bryce at Sunset Heating quickly diagnosed and fixed a problem with my Sunset installed AC. They were professional and competent and friendly. I have had some problems with this company in the past, but they are upping their game for the better and I feel more confident in using them now.

Matt from Sunset Plumbing came out to do some maintenance on our heater and a/c and he did a fantastic job. Very courteous and professional and was able to diagnose a few issues and provide an action plan without being high pressure or sales-y. Definitely recommend! Service:HVAC system maintenance

Sunset was able to fit me in next day as my AC just quit and was 87* inside my house. Shavon arrived in the time frame given and was wonderful, honest, spent extra time to find the exact problem and advocated for the next portion of service I needed the next day instead of the next week. Julian and Jake arrived on time with an upgraded unit. They were both very friendly, knowlegeable, efficient and within hours a whole new ac sytem, reconfigured the filter box and coil unit, installed an updated fuse box and thermostat.

And they loved on my big dogs; Wonderful field staff all the way around- this is great customer service that you cant find anymore! Thank you to all that were involved. Ishmael and Julian arrived on time and were so friendly efficient! Changed my filter, answered all my questions- i think it took them longer to drive from Portland in am traffic than it took them to complete the job!

Landon was as personable as he was professional and competent. He used a logical, step by step diagnostic method that identified my problem in less than 30 minutes. Sam was great to work with! Kept me in the loop as he was troubleshooting the issue and eventually repairing our AC. My only complaint is the lack of communication on the company's part. We had to call several times to get the repair scheduled after the problem was identified. To be fair, I will say this was over the the holiday week.

Sunset installed AC to work with our pre-existing furnace a few years ago; recently the quite old furnace needed replacing and they replaced that too keeping the existing AC which was new. I tried to see the more options for what you guys did for me. But I'll put in this comment. You did an amazing job cleaning the ducts and getting me a new hvac system! Install team was amazing! Kudos to them. THE only thing I would say was an issue was your scheduler. They need a little bit more training on communicating. It was a bit of hassle trying to get scheduled w/crane and trying to get a hold of said person was also a problem. Still 5 stars though because the real champs are the installers and cleaners!

Mike was part of the original install team and his expertise and friendly manner is greatly appreciated. He is truly a five star employee and we wouldn't hesitate to call Sunset and ask for his excellent service and knowledge again.

Extremely happy with the professionalism and attitude of John and Kai. Very impressive young men. The overall experience with the company has exceeded our expectations. It started with a phone call to Robert who really started my comfort level with Sunset. I had already paid for an estimate; but I didn't feel comfortable with that experience. Robert created an appointment the day after I called and Matt was the tech that diagnosed our issue. He sold us on himself. He was authentic. After 17 years our furnace and AC needed to be updated. I really appreciated the professional service provided by a friendly staff that communicated exceptionally. From our initial visit with Matt and his recommendations for various replacement/repair options, to the hard working and dedicated team of John and Kaimana doing installation (and Robert and Rich who supervised) and Ethan who cleaned our vents, the entire process was exceptional. Overall, a great experience for a very expensive investment. Keep up the good work.
