Steve’s Plumbing & A/C Service

I'm only writing this review to highlight the efforts of an individual technician. Zach Brownfield has over 10 years of experience in and out of Hawaii. His skill and expertise is extremely evident in his work. It's clear to me he is passionate about his trade and it's also clear his training polished him into the highly skilled technician he is today.

Not only did Zach install 3 faucets and drains, a water softener, a toilet, and repair a hot water heater, he provided detailed explanations of what he was doing and took the time to provide tips and tricks to better maintain all of these items. I watched as Zach meticulously installed these items leaving no stone unturned and taking no shortcuts. Zach also repaired problematic items performed by an unskilled plumber from another company.

It was clear Zach was focused on getting the job done to completeness and perfection, time was not his priority, but rather, Zach went above and beyond and though I believe the prices are too high Zach did his best to find ways to make the service affordable. If this review was for Zach alone, it would be a 10/5 (Amazing job), but due to the price gouging, I rate Steve's Plumbing a 4. HIGHLY recommend you call and request Zach for all your plumbing needs in the future!

We bought a split air conditioner from Steve's AC rep Nicholas Delaunay. We're very happy with the results. We were kept informed and the crew were fast and professional and Nicholas is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

I had been trying for several weeks to get a shower drain installed. I had several plumbers look at the drain and was told that they had never seen a drain like this and was unable to do the job. I was starting to feel that I wasn't going to find anyone to install the drain. I finally contacted Steve's Plumbing who sent a plumber out the next morning and had the drain installed in 30 minutes. WOW! I was totally impressed with the speed and quality of their work and will be using them for all future plumbing needs. Thanks Steve's Plumbing for a job "Well Done"!

Steve's Plumbing is professional in uniform and interactions. They were easy to talk with and sincere while listening to your concerns. They were not insistent on what you needed to do. They did what you called them to do, did the work fast and professionally. They were polite. I would call them anytime over their competitors. I recommend Steve's Plumbing to others.

Jake from Steve's plumbing did a great job of helping us repair a faulty air conditioning unit in our condominium in Kona. We had tenants in the unit at the time that the air conditioner failed, and Jake was able to work with me remotely to identify the best new product for our situation, and then install it without any disruption to the tenants. We are now part of the Steve's Ohana and enjoy the benefits of regular service visits from Jake.

We ended up using a new Bosch air conditioner and are extremely pleased with the results. I would definitely call and Steve's for any additional plumbing or air conditioning needs at our unit. And I would also ask for Jake to be our technician. He's very personable, trustworthy, and easy to deal with.

They came to my house yesterday to help me with two plumbing issues. they were freindly, efficient and most imporantly so competent. From the moment they arrived at my home for the estimate, I pretty much knew that Steve's Plumbing & AC was the company I was going to hire for the job. Justin and Henry were on time, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and completely up front about the work that was needed. Our bathtubs and hot water tank needed attention. We called for a service and they came later that afternoon. Our technician was Wereloe Baluran and he was excellent. Very polite, efficient and confident in his ability to do the job for us. The next day he arrived with a new hot water tank with Josiah to help and they had our old tank out and new one installed within a few hours. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend your company to anyone that needs plumbing and drain work done. 10/10

Kevin was our plumber and he was professional, timely and explained everything that needed replacement/repair. We had several issues and had them taken care of, with a more complex issue quote given via email and same day scheduled on the same day. Great service.
