I had been trying for several weeks to get a shower drain installed. I had several plumbers look at the drain and was told that they had never seen a drain like this and was unable to do the job. I was starting to feel that I wasn't going to find anyone to install the drain. I finally contacted Steve's Plumbing who sent a plumber out the next morning and had the drain installed in 30 minutes. When our main water line into our house started hemorrhaging water (1 gal a minute!) I called up and down the Kilua Kona coast looking for help. It was Steve's Plumbing that replied right away, and Josh and Dell - two of their super pro plumbers - came right over, consulted and surveyed the situation and had a firm quote within an hour. Here we are three days later with a complete solution expertly done from excavation, laying pipe and restoring the entire area affected. Never seen better service, professionalism and two great guys to boot.

Jake from Steve's plumbing did a great job of helping us repair a faulty air conditioning unit in our condominium in Kona. We had tenants in the unit at the time that the air conditioner failed, and Jake was able to work with me remotely to identify the best new product for our situation, and then install it without any disruption to the tenants. We are now part of the Steve's Ohana and enjoy the benefits of regular service visits from Jake.

We ended up using a new Bosch air conditioner and are extremely pleased with the results. I would definitely call and Steve's for any additional plumbing or air conditioning needs at our unit. And I would also ask for Jake to be our technician. He's very personable, trustworthy, and easy to deal with.

We had Jake (from Steve's Plumbing and Air Conditioning) come out to service our air conditioner, and we were pleasantly impressed with the level of care he took. He explained our system much better and more comprehensively than any other service tech before.and we've had several. He gave a bid that was fair and reasonable, then completed the job on the spot. I would highly recommend.

We detected a leak coming through the ceiling and called for a plumber right away. Steve's Plumbing was the first to respond and they let us know we'd be contacted within the hour. Two hours later we received a call and was told to expect someone shortly. Levi arrived and assessed the situation, recommending a leak test be done. Three holes in the ceiling and $729 later, Brendan was able to identify the source of our leak, and recommended we replace a section of the pipe.

The pipe replacement was done quickly and we also opted for additional preventative maintenance be done throughout the house. Brendan was very professional and provided insight into what we should keep an eye on. I would provide additional stars, but didn't care for the fact that they ask an additional fee to warranty their work. I'm not sure if this is an industry standard, so take that with a grain of salt.

Your technician Aaron Fernandez came out on time and was very professional and diagnosed the problem with our Rheem water heater and explained on how to get a new water heater from home depot because it is on warranty. I will have you guys come out to change the water heater when the part is available. Also I'm the owner of Pacific island towing LLC and will tow any of your service vans or trucks if they have broken down on the big island, I also do lockouts, gas or jumpstarts, flats and I also do minor onsite repairs like alternator or battery replacement or something minor. New review: My scheduling experiences have been much better lately. Plumbing Technicians (Matt and David) and A/C Technicians (Justin) were thorough and great. I have consistently had issues with the call center, however, the plumbers are always great. Matt represents the company extremely well. He is patient and explains well. He is the reason I continue to use Steve's Plumbing despite having issues with the consistent rescheduling and full voicemail box when I return a call.

Matt is very knowledgable and professional! The owner's of Steve's have a valuable employee in Matt and I encourage them to give Matt a 'route' close to his home so he can stop driving 4 or more hours everyday to get to work and home again. Leon and his apprentice were helpful and professional. I had many plumbing concerns as we just moved into this older home. After explaining all the needed repairs they were able to complete two of the more urgent things and then plan on doing the remaining repairs when possible.
