Services
Pet Hospice And Palative Care We aim to empower and guide you in becoming your pet's strongest supporter during their end-of-life care. Our pet hospice program offers three types of consultations. We can assist your pet by providing a personalized home visit to assess them in the familiar surroundings of your home. This allows us to observe your pet in their natural environment, helping you recognize their unique subtle behaviors and pain signals.
In-Home Euthanasia I would be delighted to discuss your pet's individual circumstances with you over the phone. During our consultation, I'll offer guidance on the aspects of the end-of-life process, aftercare, and creating a memorial for your pet. Throughout this decision-making process, you will benefit from my expertise, understanding, and unwavering support. Additionally, I am available for an in-home consultation on the scheduled day of your appointment.

Dr. Westbrook responded quickly to our text and took our call as we knew the dreaded day was near to say goodbye to our beloved MaltiPoo, Gigi. We wanted the experience to be as gentle and compassionate as possible. Dr. Westbrook spent more than 20 minutes listening to our concerns about timing and offering the kindest and most considerate thoughts about our personal situation.

She was patient and understood how we felt so we scheduled the visit. Sadly, two days before our appointment, Gigi passed away in the ER. It was so traumatic and the opposite of what we had hoped and prayed. Although we never got to meet Dr. Westbrook in person, we wanted to give her the highest recommendation. We believe her service is priceless, after all, our companions are beloved family members.

We have used Loving Paws three times over the last 10 years for our cats. The peace of mind we have gotten from being able to let them go at home is beyond measure. Dr. Westbrook is punctual, professional, caring, and compassionate. We have recommended her services to several friends who have also used her and have sang her praises as well. We are so glad we have her to help us through really difficult decisions and times in a peaceful, respectful manner.

I've had to utilize Dr. Westbrook's services a title of 4 times over the last 10 years and I won't use anyone else. She is professional, very compassionate and gives you as much time before and after to be with your pet as you need. All 4 of my babies passed while lying on my stomach on the sofa, just like any normal day. There was no stress of taking a sick and dying beloved pet to a veterinary office. She even makes the arrangements to have them picked up for cremation or burial. She's fantastic.

Dr. Westbrook went above and beyond to help me with my dog. Her knowledge and expertise were just what I needed to hear to be able to let him go. Not only that, but when his health took a quick turn for the worse, she came immediately to help me. I am so thankful and appreciative that she was able to guide me through such a hard time. It was truly a time of need and she was right there.

It never gets easier saying goodbye to our furry family members. It just sucks. Almost 18 years ago, my kids and I decided to adopt another kitten to be a playmate for Tiger, the Orange tabby kitten we adopted the year before. We already had our lab CJ, so what was one more pet! Once again we headed to Operation Kindness where we fell in love with Kelly at first sight.

All three of our girls (yes, Tiger was actually Tigerlily) lived long, happy lives, with CJ passing at age 14 in 2014 and Tiger in 2018 at age 17. Now it was Kelly's turn to cross the Rainbow Bridge, also at age 17. With COVID 19 restricting owners from accompanying pets into our usual vet clinic, I frantically searched online for an alternative when I knew it was time.

A very sad day was made easier by letting her go in the comfort of our home, feeling safe while resting with me on my bed. I can't thank Loving Paws Veterinary House Calls and Dr. Rebecca Westbrook enough for the compassionate care she gave both Kelly and me when we needed it most. Though I hope to not be in this situation again anytime soon, when the occasion arises I will once again contact Dr. Westbrook and Loving Paws to say goodbye to my furry babies.

As has been said in other reviews, if I could give 10 stars - I would! Incredible Vet who was exceptionally caring and compassionate in such a sad and difficult situation. From the call to prepare prior to coming to the house, to the soft touch to my mother's cat, assurances and support for our decision given the deterioration in health of a 14 year old Ragdoll - all was appreciated more than I have words to express. The understanding and after-care that acknowledged the grief associated with the loss of a beloved pet was so helpful. Thank you! Thank you!

I am so thankful I found Dr. Westbrook. She made a difficult time much easier. Dr. Westbrook was patient and kind, explaining the entire process and allowing as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It was such a relief to offer my little kitty peace in his own space without the trauma of a vet visit (he had severe anxiety outside of the home). It was well worth it and I'm very grateful to her for her service and attentiveness.

You never want to have to make the phone call, to arrange for someone to come to your house to put your dog down. But I'm glad I picked at home and Dr. Westbrook was the one to help. She took the time to explain the procedure, and the time frame of each step. She answered all my questions and even shared stories. She was very sweet to my dog, letting her feel calm and not have anything to fear.

Nothing felt rushed for a minute, I was able to give my puppy the love through it all. She also explained how to help my other dog with the process. Thank you for making such a hard time a little easier.

My Gigi was having terrible seizures - up to 5 times a day. She was 15 years old and my husband and I made the very difficult decision to let her go. Dr. Westbrook came to our home and helped me through the entire process. I HIGHLY recommend her if you have a pet that you have to let go. She is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. She is exactly the kind of vet you want in your home for your pet's final moments.

Loving Paws was the best way that we could lay our sweet Buddy to rest. We were in the comfort of our own home and he wasn't in an unfamiliar place. Dr. Westbrook was very kind and walked us through exactly what she was doing. Having to put a pet down isn't something that anyone wants to do, but I believe this is the best way to do it. Thank you Dr. Westbrook for your kindness.

Dr. Westbrook was as professional and compassionate as you could possible want for such a difficult time. She was brilliant. Having a compassionate, competent professional come to your house to make the event so much less stressful is an almost priceless act. I will definitely seek her services again when my other dog is ready to move on.
